I had high hopes for this place given all the positive reviews, but, although the wait staff was nice, the food was really dismal. I think my beans had actually gone bad and were rancid. The verde sauce had no savory tomatillo tang and instead was just sweet. The salsa too was oddly sweet. No one in my party enjoyed their food. So disappointing.
The sign said "Best Burrito" on the sidewalk. Boy they were not kidding! We had vegi tacos, Ranchero Enchiladas, and the BEST burritos. Food and service were fantastic!
Been coming here since I can remember to original location in center of offices in San Rafael. Best Mexican food made with heart and soul. Real authentic food here. The owner is such a sweetheart and kind, remind me of my Nana. Hidden gem but just opened up second location on 4th street also in San Rafael. But the OG is just as good as the others! Love everything and the homemade salsa is bomb! You'll want to buy some for take home and the chips are one of a kind! You won't be disappointed! Eat here!!! I recommend mole burrito and rice beans plate combo. Would give more stars if I could!! Thank you!!

Casa Mañana was a longtime favorite of mine (going back to the 1990s), but it is currently a very pale shadow of what it used to be. I stopped in two weeks ago for brunch, and was disappointed with the quality of food (the chicken in my chicken poblano appeared to be sorely undercooked), and with the cleanliness of the bathroom (dirty and no toilet paper, no paper towels). Also, their once rice-based horchata is now milk-based. I will give them another try real soon and update my review if things have improved.

Sadly a miss for me. I ordered the super burrito and it was served more enchiladas-like, with sauce all over it. The chicken and veg soup was bland and overpriced. :(

An absolutely delicious dinner (we went back the following morning for breakfast!) in a charming courtyard served by a very sweet señora. We loved it!!!
