Very good but warning - the mild is EXTREMELY spicy. I eat Thai food often and from all sorts of different places and I’m shocked how spicy this is. Lots of places I can order medium and be fine, but this mild is almost inedible to me. Just want to warn people who can’t handle spice, bc I CAN handle some! Still yummy but whew my mouth is on fire!
I’ve been to Thailand. This is hands-down no competition the best Thai food in Marin. It’s even better and more authentic than Marnie over in the city. I’m trying to convince them to make a seafood salad like a ceviche to put on their menu I would order that twice a week this place is Little indoor seating, outdoor seating in the food is just fabulous. You couldn’t go wrong bringing a date here family is so good the people that are on it are so nice if I could give it 10 stars I would
Had to go to San Rafael to visit someone who wanted Thai. This place was on the way with good reviews so we picked up a phone order of red chicken curry and three appetizers for $52 cash only.The person we were supposed to visit canceled. We drove back across the bridge and finally looked at the order, NO chicken curry! What the?!I suppose you should always look at the order before leaving but who forgets the main order?! Maybe this is a nice place if you live nearby but if I ever went back I'd try the Thai place up the street. And I'll check the dang bag.
Very yammy Thai food, so we came back when stopping by San Rafael. Recommend angel wings (stuffed with meat and vermicelli, and the skin is really crispy), green curry and elephant tofu. :P
Randomly stopped in, truly a mom and pop place. Food was prepared by the wife, I presume, and it was like a home cooked meal. Great portions.
Top 3, if not the best Thai food in Marin. Small place, take out mainly. Literally 4 small tables. Consistent and tasty. Best Pad Thai and Pra Ram hands down. Just a heads up, they only take cash.
Food is ok, cash only. Be careful that they already include tax as well as 20% tips when you take out. I ordered an eggplant dish with shrimp ($14.99) and a Thai tea ($2.99) to take out, I got a $24 bill. I didn’t notice that, so I tipped again when I left. They only accept cash to avoid tax from IRS, but they charge customer for tax? Also, I am not sure if it’s common to automatically charge tips without even informing customers! I doubt a descent restaurant would do so.
The food is great. My mom and I loved the food here and used to order all the time. The last time my mom picked up our order, the owner stopped my mom from leaving. They forced her to give them $5 stating she owed her from the last order. My mom, an immigrant, can't speak English well tried to explain to the owner she does not know what he was talking about. They did not care and would not let her leave until she gave them $5. The owners claimed they tried calling to tell us we underpaid, but that never happened. I think they confused my mom for someone else and would not even try to listen. I am never going her again.
Best flavor in the general marin area. My favorites are the green curry, yellow curry, & pad thai (pictured)
