Small but worth the visit. This restaurant is indeed a gem. Located in downtown San Pedro on fifth near Pacific. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant.Soups are worth the visit even without accompanying meals. The onion soup is excellent. Salads are great and entrees are mostly very good. Fish meals tend towards the salty, however.Wine and beverage menu is limited but pretty good. Dessert menu is sparse. Prices are fairly reasonable for portion sizes. Try it!
A delicious and fabulous lunch. It was nice that there was breakfast options as well as lunch. It worked nicely for one person in our group who needed gluten-free. The menu has excellent variety and a lot of unique combinations. Our server was fantastic and very friendly. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio. Easy parking and close to the Maritime Museum as well as Crafted at the Port.
Excellent place. Prime Rib sandwich was amazing! Chicken Picatta was good. Friendly atmosphere. Recommended!
My wife and I were in San Pedro early on a Monday morning to catch a cruise ship. We knew we'd arrive too early for boarding, so I look for a place nearby to have a nice breakfast. So our driver dropped us off at the doorstep of Think Cafe (20 minutes before opening), luggage in hand! It's in a very unassuming office building on a pretty unassuming street. (But close enough to walk to the port in about 20 minutes later in the morning.) Once the place opened, we were very pleased to be able to sit outside (thanks to nice weather) and we really enjoyed that. It's very private (lots of Paperbark trees, which are cool) provide that privacy. Also made it easy to stash our luggage (later, a couple LEAVING the ship we were to board arrived for breakfast with their luggage in tow...so I guess that happens at Think Cafe fairly often!) The food was all very good. The portions were manageable; so often, breakfast places really pile on the food. Not quite so much here, but plenty of food. AND the prices were quite reasonable to go with that. My fancy omelette, with some sides, was only $12. My wife and I each enjoyed an omelette and then we split the churro waffle, which was a decadent but exceptionally yummy treat. We lingered for awhile, as we had some time to kill, and overall had a pleasant time there. Service was okay, and our waitress warmed up over time following an initial slightly brusque manner. We'd certainly go here again!
We arrived a day before a cruise and were looking for a place to grab lunch and came across the Think Cafe. Our family was glad that we came here for lunch. They had a wide variety of food to select from. Since it was Sunday they were also serving Brunch. Many of the Brunch dishes looked good and also came with (it looked like) nice pours of Champagne with refills. Service was really good. If in the area you should stop by for a meal.
I've been here twice. A cute cafe with a fine dining twist on Breakfast and Lunch. The staff were very pleasent and they treat you like you're family. Lastly they have their own parking lot. I recommend this place if you're in San Pedro.
What a treat! Huge menu full of tasty dishes. A generous amount of outdoor seating available due to both side and back patio. So glad to have been!
I was visiting the Long Beach area from South Carolina and we decided to give this place a shot and we were blown away! The food is delicious, the environment and service is espectacular and i would definitely visit again! Actually, we went to this place 3 days in a row for breakfast trying different things and everything was very good.
Large variation on menu. My new favorite, Sand Dabs. Very busy Valentine's weekend, but handled our large group without a reservation even. Plenty of parking in area. Definitely would return.
Can’t believe I’ve never eaten here. Pleasant surprise and will be back!
