The Chinese chicken salad is the best.The sandwiches are a kinda pricey, but the mini meals are a great deal.My coworkers order food for delivery quite a bit.I went today, it was crowded. Service was fast,there were many to go orders. I waited maybe 2 minutes.Try the Italian Delux sandwich, you won't be disappointed.There is plenty of indoor seating,if you prefer to dine in.
Amazing Deli in the heart of San Pedro! It’s like the song, “I fell in love with (Sandwich place) in San Pedro.” I’m not a sandwich eater, but I eat bread for breakfast. Since we have to be in Long Beach, we got different sandwiches to take with us almost daily. I even had the leftovers for my breakfast. I loved the avocado and eggs sandwich. They made the best for me! Hubby liked the Salami, Turkey, and some others. I’m a simple woman, “avocado and eggs” makes me happy already. When we dined for breakfast, I had my sandwich with salad, and they were generous with my salad. They gave me a big salad! Hubby was happy that I found this sandwich place. We like the other cafe around here, but the two are very different. This is a Deli place while another one we like is a cafe. Both are phenomenal and serve quality food, for thought. The first time I came in, I saw a few staffers working behind the counter making sandwiches and taking orders. They work as a team and are pretty efficient. Nice teamwork! The deli is a medium-sized deli with two dining areas. This is probably the best location for them. Located on a major street with a big sign, you won’t miss this saloon! It’s hard to find a good deli like NY in this town, but we found it!

Hands down my favorite place in San Pedro. Everything is delicious. Tuesday burger special is best for a deal. Pastrami burger is fire. NY club is fire. Love it all. NY club sandwhich in picture. Gota try this place!
One thing you should know before getting lunch- always order online. Because if you order inside they will take a while to give you your order. This is not a complain, it’s more a testament to how big and how loyal their clientele is. Definitely will be coming back.
1st.time ever Philadelphia cheese sandwich was perfectPastrami was ok? It would have been better if I may suggest next time try to steam boil the meat☺️Anyhow I was hungry finish one and a half sandwiches
A San Pedro staple. Eternally good, perpetually delivers, 12/10 recommend. Street parking, lots of seating, clean, friendly staff, and a fantastic menu. Order anything, it will be amazing.
Their food is above average and their prices are fair. Above and beyond the value of their food, their customer service is stellar. We enjoyed our visit so much that we returned for a second meal. Keep in mind we were only here for two days a there are a dozen other options to choose from. If we return to this area the Sandwich Saloon will get another visit from us.
