My experience here has always been one of okay food and bad service, but family likes to go so I join them on occasion. I went alone today (because the restaurant I wanted to try was closed). They seated me quickly and were nice, so I thought: ok, the service has improved. Then I didn't see the waitress again for a very long time (never ordered) so I got up and left.
Overall, good experience. The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is that the service was slow the night we went. In all fairness, our waitress and waiter did apologize for the wait and let us know there were several parties inside and I appreciated that.Food and beverage gets 5 stars. I ordered the Kentucky Tea and the brisket sliders. Tea was well made - perfect mix of whiskey and peach tea. The sliders come three to a plate. They were also well made. The beef was juicy and they came to our table hot despite the wait. We actually got our food first even though we ordered that last. Good value for price. I’d try it again to see if service is better.
The burger actually turns out the way most restaurants have pictures of their burgers. A good 1/2 pound of meat with all the fresh toppings. The bun is special baked and not the chain supply type. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to the San Pedro Brewing Company since I was a kid! My entire family are big fans. The restaurant is located in the downtown San Pedro area. You can find street parking in front of the restaurant or there are a few parking lot options nearby. From what I remember the parking is free too.The restaurant is a nice spot to grab dinner and a few drinks. My go-to is their southwestern mac and cheese with cream corn in the side. Those are two items you definitely HAVE to try at least once! It’s honestly all I get. Every single time I dine there.Service can be a bit slow sometimes but their food is more than worth it! Prices (from what I remember) are fair for the portions you get. Definitely check them out if you’re in the area! You won’t be disappointed!
Great local spot for drinks and food. Their imperial stout is smooth and creamy and not heavy like other stouts. The staff was very friendly.
My old lady and I always have a good time here and consistent over out the years! Edit: Women love the magic mirror..
I'm changing my review of this place, I had gone their twice over the last few months and was disappointed with the service, but it was a great hang so I went back again. Service was better as the bar wasn't as crowded. It's got a great local's feel and a lot of the people knew one and another. They aren't just limited to their own beers as they have a good selection of other local breweries. The food was good and the service was much better than the first 2 times I went. Hoping they are able to keep up the service, like I said it's a great spot to watch sports on TV and drink some tasty beer. Glad I went back one more time, I wasn't disappointed.
The food was good. I ordered their blonde and even the beer drinker in our group couldn’t finish it. It also leaves a bad taste in your mouth!’ The noise level was soooo bad. Don’t expect to visit with your companions!
I got a pulled pork sandwich the house IPA and a Moscow mule, I spent about 40 bucks which in San Pedro is very good if you can grab a couple drinks and a full dinner and actually be filled up and satisfied.my friends got the flat iron chow mein dish and the hickory Burger. I had a taste of their food and it seemed really good to me so this will most likely be my go-to place if I'm going out to eat in San Pedro as I've not had many good experiences.the server was nice and timely the food came out promptly so it was overall a good experience and I highly recommend this place.
Nice selection of beer. Try beer tasting flight.
