Just visited recently and its great but I miss the old sacred grounds from back in 1998. They were located down the street in the corner, they had bands every Friday, usually happy punk bands, goth kids everywhere and there I was new to the country barely spoke any English I remember a man named Terry who was so nice to me since the beginning, his staff as well were very nice to me all the time. I stopped going there in 2003 I went away to college but definitely this was the place to go back then and for what I just saw its still is. Also of the staff reads this tell them to say Hi to Kira for me she used to work there, I almost asked her to marry me ...
Perfect atmosphere and kind attention from Tracy and the crew every visit. The coffee is wonderful, and plenty of food or treats to match.

0 stars if I could. I honestly use to hang around here for the social atmosphere. Friends and I have been coming for 20 years and are still disrespected and treated as if we don't matter. Employees treat most people with a tinge of disregard and disrespect. All furniture is thrift shop salvaged (includes matching bedbugs) and is never really wiped down.Out of all of the places between East and West coast to go this is by far the worst in terms of customer service, cleanliness and quality.Also the employee Tracy is by far the rudest and worst person ever to buy a coffee from. He also lives in the shop.Budbugs and transient baristas.Bon Appétit

No pride of ownership at this place. Looks like its going out of business. Not clean we poured our two lattes out after 4 sips. I know it's hard on businesses during covid but no excuse for dirty unorganized public places. Last trip here for us. This place really nice with a little interest from the owners
Really calm place, run-down in the good way. Good coffee and espresso. I wish there were more places like this but that'd ruin the charm. This is definitely my favorite place to sit down and chill.
