The bread was my weakness soft with grilled yellow bell peppers. The plate is very well served. I ordered rib eye steak with potatoes and fresh steamed veggies. Kids ordered from grilled chicken with veggies and potatoes to chicken alfredo. My favorite was the calamari with delicious marinara sauce. My husband ordered white fish in lemon sauce with veggies and potatoes. Chicken rafaello is a stuffed chicken with veggies and potatoes. Sangria is excellent and the dessert tiramisu was amazing with flavorful coffee. Excellent service. Servers were attentive. You will definitely enjoy the benefit of taking leftovers.
After looking at recommendations for Italian food this restaurant came up and for my birthday I decided to try this place, unfortunately felt underwhelmed with the food. I got the veal alla parmigiana which was okay but some of the broccoli on the plate felt undercooked and crunchy, my moms pasta Alfredo was average and dare I say tasted like Supermarket jarred Alfredo sauce. Other than that our server was super attentive, nice and the limoncello drink was delicious ?
Food is great. Staff are extremely generous and quick to refill drinks, give complementary bread and salads etc. Was our cheapest meal of the trip yet by far the best.
My wife and I came here, for the first time, to celebrate our anniversary. We sure are glad we did! What a terrific experience… Complimentary bread, sautéed bell peppers, bruschetta, and salad. What?! What other restaurant does that? So generous. The service was friendly and fast. The ambiance is classy, homey, and clean. The food is delicious. I have a feeling that everything on the menu tastes good. We’ll definitely be recommending Raffaello to friends and family.
I can only give this restaurant a score of 5 out of 5. Family run , excellent extensive menu and very good value for money. If you are in San Pedro you must visit. We loved the atmosphere and the staff were amazing especially the son of one of the owners , Alessamdro. A real local gem.
THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT EVER. No really, the taste is off the chart. As a business-to-business salesman, I have been to so many Italian restaurants that I’m actually tired of them. But this one is definitely different. Not only the server was incredibly nice but also the entire vibe is rich with comfort and luxury. Their free bread appetizer comes with lightly cooked red and yellow pepper touched with olive oil. Then we got lasagna. I don’t even like Lasagna. But Lasagna alla Calabrese, this one, I cleaned to the bottom and wiped entire sauce with bread. Another plate was Rigatoni alla Porcara. Sausage was bit salty but interestingly calmed it down. The dessert, which we couldn’t even wait to take photo, was Canoli. Crust was little hard but it was DELICIOUS!!!!!! Definitely recommend it. The server’s name is Ivan. Ivan is THE MAN.
I love this place! Ambiance is delightful and the restaurant is just beautiful but its def the staff and the food that keep us coming back. They make you feel like family. Best french bread in town (it comes with butter but I ask for oil and vinegar!) And they also give great bruschetta. I havent tried much else than the chicken fettuccini alfredo but it's the best I've ever had. And the serving is enormous, it always ends up being 3 meals for me, no kidding, and the leftovers the next day, and the next, are always amazing too. My husband got chicken marsala and it was wonderful also, their chicken is so tender. Whether you are visiting or a local, dont miss out on this spot. They also have a great bar. Oh, and get a salad with your meal. It's delicious. Just go. You will love it.
This restaurant is that hidden gem you’ve been looking for. We’d traveled from the UK and saw this in Tripadvisor, #2 restaurant in LA, and as it’s 30 miles from central LA, we thought it was worth a visit. We were not disappointed, We went twice and although the second visit wasn’t as good as the first, our first experience was exceptional. We’re glad we booked as there were queues out of the door. The restaurant is a family run Italian, we were greeted by Dad, the owner, we were served by his son, Alexandro, and many other family members clearly worked there. The atmosphere was amazing, a real buzz without being too noisy. We were given a plate of bruschetta and roasted peppers to nibble on whilst we ordered, beautiful. Each Entree is served with a soup or salad and the Entrées were huge, too much for any one with a normal appetite ( we shared an Entrée on our second visit). We had the Fettuccine with Salmon, Shrimps and Calamari served in a creamy tomato sauce, it was totally devine. Our waiter, Alexandro was impeccable, so charming and polite, he can serve at our table anytime. Overall 10 out of 10, 5 stars, 100%.
very friendly staff....attentive...would definitely come again
The best Italian food ever! The brother are from ??. I can’t think them enough to make my wedding anniversary Extra special! My wife is bilingual Italian and she enjoyed speaking to them in Italian. I have the spaghetti and meatballs and actually So good and so much it was equivalent of three meals !
