We've been coming here for years for their wonderful breakfasts! The variety of omelets they offer is astounding. If you cannot find an omelet you would want to eat your just too darn picky! You can even build your own combination so it's all on you.We mostly come in for their wonderful breakfasts and specials but yesterday we came in for lunch and jad their Patty Melt with a side salad and Ortega Burger with fries. We got there a half hour before they closed and not wanting to be bad customers We asked if we were too late but were welcomed in with open arms. They even took more customers after us along with takeout orders. Both sandwiches had top quality ingredients, such as beef that really tasted like beef! Both sandwiches were the best versions of these sandwiches We've had in a long while.The fries were also awesome but the side salad was so far above the standard salad you get at most places as it had an excellent mix of greens but it was also topped with mushrooms and olives and other goodies. The Blue Cheese dressing was also up to their quality standards. Only a minor complaint. The salad bowl was so heaping that it was hard for me to eat without knocking out ingredients while eating. The wife, who is much more civilized than I, pointed out I could dip the salad into the dressing on the way to my face! Problem solved!
When they advertise the best Fruit cups in town, they mean it.Probably the best restaurant I have been to in San Pedro to-date. Inside and outside dining. All the servers and runners are wonderfully helpful and courteous. Their management responds quickly, and they make you feel so welcome. It's rare that they leave you waiting and they are quick to apologize. Someone is always checking on you, without annoying you. I can review their services all day.Only downside is the parking. All street parking on a residential street or on a major high-traffic street. And because of how popular they are they are busy and it can be difficult to find parking. So be warned, be patient and don't let the parking dissuade you from checking them out.But the food.... Try the waffle, their name sake. And get the one with 3 fruits on top. They always use fresh fruit, and they are always rotating and cleaning the waffle plates. The batter they use is the perfect consistency and when paired with the toppings, the need for syrup is non-existent. Their other name sake, the omelets, are large and juicy but fully cooked. They provide large cutlets for your meat options and many side choices.This place is perfect for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Great if you are worried about your diet, or if you just love eating out like me.

A great location in San Pedro for Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch. The menu is humongous with an unbelievable variety of omelets and waffles. Their jalapeño cheddar waffle was so good that I am planning to go back. The service was fantastic. Parking was a little hassle but you can find street parking around. A four star that has potential to become five star.
It took me 45 minutes to get to resturant. 40 minutes before we were able to place our order to find out what we ordered was not available, out of (which should be taken off menu) so we had to start all over again. Mind you it was one order at a time that we were advised they did not have what was ordered. That took another 40 minutes to actually get our order. Food was not good & even though we we truly inconvenienced the owner choose not to discount our meal in any form. I’ve been going to this spot for at least 20 years & everything I go I take people with me that’s never been there before. Well I’m so done with omelette and waffles. Last meal & no more references. So long & goodbye omelettes and waffles.
EDIT: After seeing the owners response, I had to add some photos and more context. Ate here one day, and loved it so much I came back the next day, to bring an additional 5 members of my girlfriend’s family. I couldn’t help myself, and got the avocado waffle a second time, and was once again blown away. Can’t thank you guys enough for being around. It was such a pleasant visit.Oh yeah, it may not have been Mary that helped us the second day, but I sure can tell you whomever it was, treated me and everyone else with the same courtesy and respect! There doesn’t seem to be a bad bone anywhere within this place!ORIGINAL: Trust me, even though I’m just a stranger on the internet. Get the avocado toast waffle. If I could eat this every single day, I would. This place is awesome, has super friendly employees, a great atmosphere, and spectacular food.To top it all off, Mary was such a sweetheart.Sometimes it’s a shame there’s not a 6 out of 5 star option
The server was very nice. It took a long time to take our order. Had to keep asking for a refill of Ice tea. Extra charge for using card. Omelette was cold ?. Overall the food was good.
Food was delicious offers wide range of options on the menu patio area was nice.
Went for breakfast. Good food.. Prices have increased since last time. Not sure if I like sitting outside on asphalt with flies.
Love this place... besides the food being Delicious the service is Awesome!
