I came in here today and I asked if they sold tofu items. Their entire menu is meat only. She barely spoke English so I couldn't understand. She just kept saying tofu? Tofu? I've never been to a chinese place where they don't sell tofu. Not vegetarian friendly at all and trust me.. I'm not picky. Will not be back.

My family has been coming here since 1966 (56 years!) and never been disappointed.I recommend The Chinese Special or any of the combos (#1-#4) are Absolutely Fantastic, give you a lot of Bang For Your Buck,- a nice spread with a variety of delicious items, and no one else serves up spreads like these anymore. Everywhere else its just rice, chow mein noodles and an entree thats been sitting out for hours. The people who have complained about this place are just used to going to those lame places.

The Mongolian Beef was so soupy that it leaked out of it’s carton, through the shoebox size cardboard box that it was placed in and all over my car seat. The Mongolian Beef should have been given to me in a soup container and not a flimsy Chinese food carton. The Mongolian Beef was tender and tasty, but there was hardly any beef. The meal was more like a vegetable soup. The Wor Wonton Soup was just as disappointing. To much veggies and not enough Wontons or meat. And the Wontons didn’t appear to be fill with anything. Just plain dough.

worst excuse for chinese food i've seen in a long time. ordered chicken with cashew as this is usually a good judge for me if i'll come back. got a soupy mess with lots of bell pepper and onions. chicken looked boiled. edible but lacking any redeeming qualities. hot and sour soup was somewhat better at least. doubtful if i'll bother returning

This little hole-in-the-wall Chinese food place is the best Chinese food around. They've been around forever, and for good reason. Every order is made fresh. It's better than Louis Chinese, it's better than Shin Shins. Just remember, it's a mom and pop shop. They don't do online or app orders. You call, or order in person. They have always been to-go only, there's no in-restaurant dining. Expect to wait during busy hours. They say it will be 20 minutes, it's always longer. The house specials are amazing.

This is the best freshly made Chinese food in L.A.!! No hot plates here...cooked to order and the Best!

Fresh Chinese food made to order no heat lamps. Very tasty and good, small Home style Chinese restaurant

Gross food, I didn't eat mine but my wife ate hers and got food poisoning

This is the spot. Been coming here for 7 years, I will never go to panda express or anywhere else because they leave food sitting out. When you come to Nim Chan's they make it fresh everytime and it still costs 2 dollars less than anywhere else.

This place gives great service and tasty menu. One of my favourite places ever. The meals served rapidly and the prices are inexpensive. Recommended.
