So I haven't ate here since before the pandemic, I stopped coming because the service was spotty and the food quality was going down. My wife had recently ate here and said things had changed; I have to agree! The wait for food wasn't long at all, pasta and sauces were fantastic, the waitresses and busboy were always asking if we needed anything. So much better than Big Nick's, which has gone way down in customer service. Will come again!!
I am so reluctant to write this review because I really enjoy the food here. But I am so disappointed with the service. We called in for a delivery tonight (7/1/2022) at about 8pm. My fiance had the girl working there on speaker phone so I heard the entire call myself. We requested delivery to the crown plaza hotel and the girl took down all of our info, took our food order, told us our total, and told us it would be about 45 or 50 minutes, thank you and goodbye. So we wait , and wait , and wait, and no one showed up. I called the place back at 10:20pm (over 2 hours later) to inquire about our order. The girl tells us that when we were ordering we hung up, or got disconnected, and they never put our order through. Maybe they have us confused with a different order, but we did not get disconnected. Our order was completed, and understood as described above. All the way to the "thank you, goodbye." The girl also tells us that they were wondering if they should put our order through but that we never called back so they decided not to. That is terrible customer service. She had our phone number and if anything was unclear on their end, they should have called US back to make sure, because we were unaware that there was any problem at all, so why would we call back? She also tells us that the kitchen is closed so now we can't order anything at all. I don't know how this miscommunication was even possible, and their excuse was a total lie, and they didn't bother to even try to save the order whatsoever or make any attempt after the fact to save a customer. We are 2 very hungry and severely disappointed customers that might have to part ways with this establishment.
OMG ... the BEST pizza ever! All the food is exceptional!! Will not get pizza from anywhere else! Fresh/ quality ingredients. Staff is beyond lovely, so kind and friendlyLiterally order pizza here at least 2-4 a month!!! It is THAT GOOD! 5000 stars. Recommend over & over!
I had some pizza delivered and if you haven't had pizza from here, please stop sleeping. I'm from New Jersey, I am VERY critical when it comes to my pizza. I grew up around many Italians, I know my pizza. Picky is not even the word. 10/10. You didn't try it, you needed to like yesterday. Phenomenal. I've been in California for 3 years and I've never had pizza like home. This place hits the spot and more. If you love yourself, I recommend getting this pizza.
Pizza was very good...but 4 stars because when i Google search restaurants and choose Nicko's because they were close to where i was house sitting. When i picked up meal it was ~$6 higher than what was stated!? When i questioned the staff about difference i was told they had a price increase at " first of year"!?? This is March. I informed them i was tired after a busy day but someone might and could push the issue about the price and that they should change it asap. She wasn't very receptive. I left and won't be back until they match the real price.
That garlic ranch is the best ever. I could eat salad every day with that ranch. Portions are huge. Prices are great. Sports on every TV what more could a guy ask for.
I ate here in the past and remembered it been good but when I went today I have to say the food was subpar. I invited a friend there for the first time and I can tell she was disappointed in her meal. I had pizza, which I felt I could’ve made a better one at home. Having said that, the Greek spinach hors d’oeuvres that I ordered were good and the bread that came with my friend’s pasta. I did have carrot cake there in the past which was off the chain good. The ambience is what makes the restaurant but this time I was very disappointed in the food and I’m pretty easy to please

I drive all the way from North Torrance just to get their pizza! It's the best
