We walked over to Maria's on the Saturday evening before mother's day and they were very busy. It is a small place with a lot of takeout business. The ladies at the counter were nice and helpful. My wife and I ordered the carnitas burrito and Carne asada burrito with the asada fries. The burritos were "wet" with green sauce. The servings were large and came to the table pretty quick and very hot. The food was delicious and we ended up bringing leftovers back to our hotel with us. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be eating here again.

Maria restaurant very good! Delivery is on time! Food is delioso!!!

It is what you’d expect it to be. A hole in the wall fast Mexican food spot. The interior looks like it’s stuck in the early 90s with things added here and there since then - but never taken away. This gives it a hodgepodge cluttered feeling. The waitress was SUPER nice, which is the redeeming quality of this spot. Chips and salsa are served when you sit down and drinks are brought promptly. We ordered a variety of food, so I feel confident in my appraisal of the food. It wasn’t bad and it wasn’t good. It was mediocre and you can tell they try to do everything the most cost effective way possible. This might be a product of their way too expansive menu. I probably wouldn’t eat here again unless it was absolutely necessary but I wouldn’t never return. If you’re in a tight spot and can’t find anywhere else to go, you probably won’t be disappointed here.

I've heard good stuff from the locals about this place so I stopped in to try it while waiting for my laundry.I don't know what part of Mexico these recipes are from but the flavors are very different from the standard around L. A. and I don't hate it. The kids plate had a healthy amount of food which I appreciated, and there was not an up charge for an agua fresca.I had chips and salsa, the salsa had an interesting undercurrent I cannot identify, maybe a little Chipotle in the basic red salsa? Not sure. The spice level was good though. Defenitely not watered down.I had a cheese enchilada in red sauce and the red sauce almost tasted like a mole. Maybe there was some chocolate or something sweet in the red sauce. Maybe tamarind. IDK. It was unexpected, but I don't dislike it.The rice and beans were pretty standard, so those were def good.I will be finishing my leftovers later. So, overall a good place to try.

1st time visiting in San Pedro & our group picked this restaurant for dinner. I'd been looking for a local restaurant in Oregon serving pozole & hadn't found one. That was my dinner choice & it was excellent. Loaded with pork & served with cilantro & onion on the side. Lots of great food choices!

Have not had any disappointment, only that in Fridays night is way crowded with take out people.

Love this place they're always got great food and they always let me get something right before they close incredible soup thanks Maria 's?

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. They have taco happy hour and discounted tacos on Tuesdays. The ladies at the register have always been nice, and they've made special orders when certain dishes were not ready. They aim to please, and the food is delicious.

Excellent food and Great prices. Thanks for keeping it affordable and delicious !!

They make me wait for more then 15 min to take my order!! Not the first time waitresses are rude and careless about this! And they do the same with the food, i guess with the time they got lazy!Never buying from them again
