Fantastic Cafe on Gaffey St. San Pedro is by far my favorite burger joint, including all of gourmet burger places too. Yes taste do count and yes they are good. But one key plus of this specific Fantastic Cafe place for me is the manner of workers. Fantastic Cafe workers are so nice, warm welcoming, and patient that it’s hard not to think positive about the whole chain. If you are with toddlers, they go extra miles, let you choose off-menu a la carte, and even suggest variations. They make sure that they can make the food that babies will eat!!!In terms of food, obviously I always eat double cheeseburger combo. But I do see a lot of people eat chili verde dinner plate as well :)Lastly, if you are coming from north of Gaffey street, make sure you turn on the second right into the parking lot. The first one is exit only, where drive thru cars come out.
I lived in San Pedro about 8 years ago and this was one of my favorite places to go get breakfast or lunch with my best friend. We would eat there at least twice a month and consistently for the span of about 2 years. It was just one of our favorite places it had great food good service extremely reasonable prices. I moved away and just went back to spend the day with my girlfriend and got a late start getting back on the road home so I decided to go by and grab a late snack for their drive. Absolutely lovely surprise that it is still just as good as I remembered. I hope it stays that way. So many places have just gone down the tubes since this whole covet stuff happened and jacked their prices up as well. It was very nice to get the same good quality food for the reasonable prices.

Food was okay usually orden for take out but decided to dine in today.the person taking my order was rude looks like she was either tire or high order eggs well cooked and was served uncooked also a salad with onions the onions were nasty chopped and had a hair inside bad service should think twice to go back or to get food from there .definitely not recommend this place .
location is NOT asking for covid vaccination proof. Club salad, mushroom, and chili cheese fries are delicious.
Had the pastrami sandwich, California chicken sandwich, fries and onion rings. All were tasty, and fresh. Soup of the day was great. The table and seat were a little sticky. The napkins needs to be upgraded for the 10 napkins sandwhiche.
They have really good food. Their ordering process could be better. But it is always good.
