Horrible, ordered through app since the location in San Pedro always takes forever, locked the doors with saying drive thru only.if you been in this location you would know that your sitting often times in the drive thru for a long time, and line is often to the street.Called the store asking to cancel and get a refund, El Apollo Loco app said call the store to cancel. Of course the store can’t or won’t do anything, will have to dispute charge on credit card. Like most companies they need to disable online ordering if there going to lock their doors and say drive try only. Not everyone has the time to sit in a long drive thru line.
The food here is healthy & fresh, everybody at my house loves it. But I really like the drive thru here, the service is great. Whoever is doing the training here gets an A from me. The staff are courteous & helpful, never too rushed to get me the sauce I want or whatever I might need. It's part of the reason I come back. There are several fast food choices and some are so rude & awful, I like to go where my business is appreciated.
Service is terrible... Needs new management and employees.. food is dry.. salsa packed like they ran out of it. literally seems like they poured a teaspoon and shook the packaging container.. I worked for pollo loco in Wilmington 6 years ago and our service was nothing like this.
This place is a pice of shii I got a burrito with no chicken when I asked for a Chipotle chicken burrito I got a tostada chicken salad with 1 burn piece of chicken I will never go back here again STAY AWAY!!!

Ordered 10 piece meal and was given 18 piece. Helper asked if I wanted white chicken, and I asked how much more. Her only answer was a few dollars more!! The take out had not salsa or condiments. I spoke with the manager and he said this happened because they were busy. There were only five cars in line, and compared to In-n-Out or Starbucks five cars is not busy. Terrible service and terrible management response.
Ordered a small pozole verde and when I got back to work and opened the container, there was zero hominy in it. I stirred up the contents and all it was was broth and chunks of chicken that looked like it had been cut up in a hurry to just add to the broth. It was basically chicken soup. And it didn't even taste like pozole, AT ALL! And of course they didn't give me a receipt so I can't even go back to the store for a replacement or refund tomorrow as I don't get off work until midnight ?
Oh my goodness!! Where to start?? Do they sell chicken or pigeons!?!? Tiny chicken, over cooked and dry.
Went to the San Pedro El Pollo Loco . Myself and my girlfriend were talked to by the cashier like we were children. I'm 50 yes old . Very condescending . Got home and the chicken was way overcooked , shriveled up and just not good. We were up allnight sick from it . I won't go to any El Pollo Loco again . Horrible experience .
This location gets my order wrong at least 1/3 of the time. My order was wrong again tonight. I’m missing items I paid for. I got no receipt but can prove what I bought by the price billed to me. So I tried to call them, 3 times, and no one picks up the phone.
