Food used to be good but recently the food is a bit overpriced, bland and tasteless. Could not taste any garlic bread from the garlic bread I ordered. Fried shrimp did not taste like anything noticeable despite using hot sauce, lemons and ketchup. The shrimp platter was decent. The only good part about this place is the freshness of the food as its cooked to order and the portion sizes. It's seems they believe the portion sizes will compensate for their lack of seasoning and flavor of the food.On a side note the last 2 times I ate here the fried shrimp made my stomach hurt. If you are looking for tasty seafood this place is not it. However, if you want big portion sizes, fresh food and are willing to compromise the taste and flavor of the food then I guess this might be place for you. Beware of the prices though. For anyone wondering I spent a total of $145 excluding beverages.
Sits on the water, not fancy. But... The food is amazing. Crabby fries, amazing! The cream crab soup, excellent. The crab cake sandwich and the Quesadilla were also really good.If you want fancy, this isn't your place. If you want great food, it's a must try.
Fried tilapia, calamari & chips and micheladas...One of the best tilapias we've had and the sauce ? the calamari was crispy to perfection.
Right on the water. Hot and fresh food & lots of it ! Very fast service and the food was hot and lots of it !
The serving size on these plates is huge, so I would definitely say it’s worth every penny. With that being said, it’s not cheap. The have many options for you to try, and multiple flavors for you to choose from. This particular time, we picked the Cajun fish and the butter shrimp. Now these plates also include, bell peppers, tomatoes and a huge serving of garlic bread. Taste is amazing, and worth the wait. Parking is plentiful, and it’s the view is amazing. Weekends can be hectic, and the wait can be long. So get there early and enjoy the food.
The food was possibly my fave from our whole LA area trip. And, the lady assisting us was super friendly and patient as we figured out how to order and what we wanted.
If you want fresh food this is the place to go, been there several times while traveling in California, I recommend the fried fish and the shrimp plate, I wish they sell shrimp without the shell but I guess is part of getting your fingers with the sauce so you can lick them, make sure to order some aguas frescas on the hot summer.Don’t forget to go on a cruise to see the seals and whales.
The place is cool. The menu prices changed obviously long time ago, thus don't expect to pay $12 for fish and chips, now it's more like$18. The menu on google pictures is gone as well.
Beautiful view from my table. My Baby was super excited to see A sea lion ??
Delicious food and friendly staff! We ordered the biggest seafood platter with fried fish and lobster. Well worth the $140. It fed five of us with some leftovers. The food was prepared surprisingly fast.
