My wife and were working late far from home in San Mateo. We were hungry and tired when we saw an open sign on the window of Taqueria El Nayarita, went in at 1 am after they just closed, but they served us anyway. Amazing Tamales. Super nice people and we are greatfull for their service.
Order extra Tortillas I didn't receive it. I went to ask and they have them to another table.. !!!!!!!!tell me why the guy whent to get them from the table and give it to me... I saw them eating it at the end I didn't ated them ???
Some employees are not friendly. Poor customer service. Food is great. Various plates.

This is my favorite burrito spot but today the carne asada was not cut right not able to chew the meat had hard pieces tendons not good. Not sure what changed but the food is usually good...
Got a super burrito and taco. The service was pretty quick. The burrito could have used more meat but the cheese and beans were very tasty.
Ordered carne asada regular burrito, dry and stale! Not worth it for $10. Also place was dirty and sticky floor, how hard is it to keep your place clean??!! Must be all the homeless people hanging out side.
I been going there for years,, and the service and food has always been great.
I loved the food, yummy ! They were very kind and happy to customize my order to make it vegetarian. Feels authentic.
