The food was AMAZING the wagyu we got was beautifully marbled and the broth was tasty. Customer service was good and our food came within 10 minutes of us ordering definitely recommend!!

One of the worst hotpot ever. Can’t believe they charge $37 per person for AYCE because they have unclean food, bad service, and limited you to the max. They will literally try to not give you any food at all. They limit 3 meats you get every round and you only get 4 rounds if you are lucky because it is a 90 minute AYCE. The soup bases is very plain and not as flavorful as many Chinese hot pots. When you put 1 order of shrimp they literally will only give you 1 shrimp and it is not deveined with sand. Then you got vegetables that are not even clean. You can see the root of the vegetables still has dirt on it. Everything feels cheap with this restaurant for its price and food. Many customers can’t even get their order in and I have to wait 25 minutes for them to prepare my food. Some customers literally got up and take their menu and chase the waiter. Take my advice and you won’t regret it. Go to any 2 stars-4 stars Chinese hotpot and they will literally obliterate this restaurant with better taste of food and fraction of the price. Not even a joke. The worst hotpot ever. I wished I took a photo of the dirty vegetables that they failed to wash. Terrible.
Great Shabu place in downtown San Mateo, with a wide variety of meats to choose from. This place is all-you-can-eat, and when we went, there was no wait. Overall the meat quality was excellent, and the rest of the sides were okay. Not a bad option if you want AYCE.

I love this place so much!!! This is a must go restaurant!! I highly recommend you to try it if you haven’t try it yet! I specially loves their Japanese shabu shabu styled hot pot, and their veggies & meats ? are just the best!!!

This is the best shabu in San Mateo. I had the Ebi Tonkotsu and traditional umami kombu broth, both are amazing!!! The American Kobe beef & Angus beef belly are so tender. Seafood and vegetables are super fresh and clean. I’m so ready to come back on a weekly basis :)
Food is not good. Rules are complicated. And some waitress even rolled over her eyes when I asked about the rule. When checking out, they automatically added 20% tips to the recipe, which I feel even 15% is too much to give.
Terrible food for its price. Service was slow and they limit a lot of the food you can order. Don't waste your money. Not a great experience at all.
