The dessert was adequate but not as good as we expected.However, when I went to use their restroom, their door would not close properly due to a faulty doorstopper and I cut my hand while trying to make it close.
The SnowFlake with ice cream cups are absolutely DELICIOUS! Highly recommend if you want something sweet and refreshing! :) Definitely my favorite place in San Mateo!The cashiers and employees are definitely working hard all the time so be patient when they’re crafting your treat!
It's not bad! I guess a lot is acquired taste. Not a fan of the drinks and hot grass jelly. Calamari, takoyaki, and snowflakes are amazing though!
Delicious! The popcorn chicken is well seasoned and crunchy, the mochi balls are like chewy fried donuts, and the brown sugar cheese tea was super yum and had a unique burnt caramel taste. My DoorDash order forgot my drink and the Sweet Moment lady was really nice about it, invited me to come in to pick up another drink for free! A+ food and service :)
This place is super busy and packed and I can see why!Good:The snowflake bowl was really unique! I liked the shaved ice and the ice cream and option to put on 2 toppings - I got the taro ice cream and the mochi balls which were tasty.Bad:The snowflake bowl ended up coming in a cup though I asked for a bowl? So I wasn't sure if my order was just converted to a cup instead of a bowl. Overall I think that the ice cream didn't have a lot of flavor so it was a lot of ice in the end.My food took a while to come out and there wasn't a lot of seating so we had to wait outside and it probably took 15 min or so?I thought that the creme brulee was a bit too sugary for me.Overall might want to do takeout next time to skip the lines.
Amazing eggetts, they make them fresh on the spot and it comes out crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It does take a bit of time since it is made to order, but totally worth it. The classic milk tea was also good.Unfortunately, the mango sago smoothie was the only disappointing drink we ordered. For those familiar with the mango sago dessert, it's very refreshing and typically made with real mangos. So this is what we expected when ordering it, especially since mangos are in season. What we got was a slushy, artificially flavored drink that tasted nothing like what we expected. It was far too sweet, and from what we could tell, had no real mango in it.
they use actual watermelon in their yogurt smoothies! popcorn chicken is great.also, they give you a teeny cap, for your cap
Great dessert place. Not much seating and parking can be tough. But we all find something we like. My favorite is the snowflake cup with strawberries and boba. It is not super sweet. Came here at 830 on a Saturday night and didn’t have to wait.
Customer service was great.My waffle wasn't cooked through & I didn't get my ice cream with it.I didn't like the iced coffee drink but the cheese foam on it was good.My popcorn chicken was mostly fried fat, only a couple piece of chicken.Gave 4 stars because Ryan took my order and he's a sweetheart.
Snowflake cup was way too sweet and pricey. I know it's called sweet moment, but its still much sweeter than other shaved ice or bingsoo I've had.
