This is one of my go to ramen joints. The flavor of the soup is always spot on and the noodles are the right chewiness. The price is going up, like everywhere else in the Bay Area, but the juice odd still worth the squeeze. If you are in the area, check them out. Ramen Dojo the block over is also just as good if this place is too slammed to take any dinners in.

Easy parking. I enjoyed my bowl of lobster garlic ramen. The plus was that they include a larger serving of noodles than other places. Karaage chicken was fresh out of the fryer. Fast service. We arrived at noon on a Friday and were eating in less than 10 minutes after ordering at the door.

Arrive early to get seated. Large parking lot so parking is easy, especially for San mateo. Ramen itself was solid, I asked for level 3 spice and it still felt underwhelming. My friends also enjoyed their appetizers. Service was fast and polite.

The staff was very accommodating and pulled out tables and chairs for us to sit outdoors. My dog was with me and they offered him water. The basic ramen was flavorful and best part was the fresh noodles. They had a good strong bite to them. Would come again!

Yeah I’m eating ramen again. It’s good as alwaysThis place makes some really interesting ramen with a soft shelled crab in it. That’s right, they put A WHOLE CRAB IN IT.It’s real interesting and quite good but maybe not for everyone

Ramen broth was flavorful, definitely wish there was more meat, only had 2 thin slices of pork on the garlic pork ramen. There was both indoor and outdoor dining, must have your entire table present to be seated.

First time back for Ramen after Covid shutdown. Things seem to have changed, such as the menu. Services were not as good as before. The servers were not paying attention. Does wearing mask affect hearing & eye sight??? They missed giving us the fried oysters appetizer we ordered. I tried to catch someone attention & no one looked or heard us. So, I thought the order might not be entered, but there came the bill & then I realized it was charged. They apologized for the mistake. But we don't think we will return.

The small tables are within 6 ft. I asked the staff to change the table to keep some distance since all the 4-seat tables are empty. At the beginning, the staff refused and told me CA is fully opened. The waitress’ hand touched the ices of the ice water. The waitress’ mask did not cover nose. The waiter confused the order and directly took the wrong dish from our table to another…this is really risky…there are still new confirmed Covid cases in San Mateo county. The soup is really salty this time…

Find me a better ramen shop I’ll wait. I come from SF to eat here as no place in the city compares. Been coming here for years, never been disappointed.

Updating my prior review...One of my favorite ramen places, bar none. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and have maintained the highest quality of service and food during the pandemic. When in doubt, enjoy the Garlic Pork, and if you're in a hurry the takeout is excellent as well.
