They delivered a cold pizza rather than remaking it. I ordered a large pizza yesterday at 5:48 pm. When it had not arrived by 7:06 pm, I called to find out where it was. I was told by Rachel that it was still sitting there waiting to be delivered. I let Her know that I would like them to remake the pizza and deliver a hot pizza as soon as possible. About 25 minutes later they delivered my pizza. THE ORIGINAL PIZZA! It was about as warm as a heated car seat might make a pizza on the ride over. Needless to say I was not happy. I drove the pizza back to the San Mateo location I ordered it from and asked Rachel to remake it for me which that did. Finally at 7:49 pm, a full 2 hours after ordering, I was on my way home with a hot pizza. When I asked Rachel why she didn’t remake the pizza but rather decided to deliver a pizza that was sitting around for over an hour and a half, she said “we were busy”. Well I guess if you don’t have customers, you won’t have to worry about being busy.
The only better Pizza My Heart store is in Santa Cruz. I come here for the slices.If no one has to smell you breathe later, the Big Sur is awesome, with more fresh cooked garlic than anything else you’ll eat.There are several other good specialty slices, but basic pepperoni is particularly good.

I feel as though if you are going to run a restaurant, it would be wise that the people handling the good cover their mouths. Both male workers had their faces exposed which made me really thankful for the extra potential topping of covid, flu, and basically any other airborne disease that could occur.A special thanks to the women of this restaurant for actually following working protocol in maintaining health code regulations while working under the same amount of stress as all other employees here.Now, if we wanna talk about the pizza itself, I ordered the Linda Mar, which is a concoction of veggies like olives, artichoke, broccoli (among others) and I feel that this pizza would have tasted much better had it not looked like the person that arranged the toppings had not just walked out due to the excessive demand of all orders coming in at this hour. The arrangement was a parallel of a child attempting to play Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. One is left to wonder if such an arrangement should be applauded for the difficulty of the task at hand, or ridiculed for its under-deliverance and sloppy existence.The stress of a high traffic hour is a lot for a specially pizza establishment to have. Perhaps the quality of their pie improves during slower hours.
