Yummy Hunan/Sichuan dishes. Love the pork belly and garlic sauce. Lotus root ball is vegetarian and it is yummy. The pork rib and shrimps are very numbing. It is bit too salty for me. Also looks like the saltines and sweetness don't mix well. It is yummy but I couldn't fully enjoy this dish. Overall good. Price is bit high but service was good.
The Ping’s bistro is a mix of Hunan style food and Sichuan style food, regardless, it is spicy. The clams clay pot is spicy, juicy and meaty, as the clams are almost one and half or double the size of regular clams. The spicy chicken pot is great to pair with rice. The portion is generous.A great spicy food restaurant.
Ordered their clam dish and half of the clams were bad. The clams looked black and tasted awful.????Got the spicy frog legs and it didn’t taste that fresh and there weren’t that much frog. Mostly it was the vegetables and peppers.Spent 90 dollar for these two dishes and we walked out of the restaurant with half empty stomach
A rare find Sichuan restaurant that doesn’t skimp on serving up ma-la: the spicy numbing sensation characteristic of this regional Chinese cuisine.* Spicy sliced lamb in steel pot, wonderfully ma-la and cumin in taste with interesting textures drawn from corn and lotus root.* Shredded cabbage with sliced pork in flaming pot, though simple, a cornerstone green staple to accompany a flavorful meal.* Chongqing style spicy chicken, crispy and smoky, though a bit more meat would have been ideal.
My experience eating at Ping's Bistro was very positive. I enjoyed the food, ambience, and quick service. The interior is clean and well lit.The food is absolutely delicious and well prepared. I ordered the Sautéed Sliced Pork belly with lean meat and Country Style Dried Bean Curd with Pork. The Bistro has available parking on El Camino Real and in the rear.
Great food! The spicy chicken and the spicy pork intestine was incredible! Service is outstanding!
Schedule drive-by ended up in scoring in the excellent food on the restaurant opening. Very interesting atmosphere and design. Place is equipped with leather booths, standalone tables and larger tables for the big companies. Excellent service although not too many personnel speak English. Get your interpreter on the way there.Would highly recommend to try Sliced Pork In Spicy Garlic Sauce for $9.99 as well as Live Fish in house special spice soup $39.00.Also add some Jell-O for dessert and I don’t really recall the name of the dish.Overall will be back for more pleasant experience and will invite friends to visit.Xie xie Ping’s Team.
Hit them up if you up enjoy spicy food! There's a fried chicken dish (can't remember the name) that's crazy spicy and flavorful and they are not stingy with their peppers. Shredded cabbage flaming pot with pork belly slices was a good mild neutralizing dish.
Fine dining, Fresh!, originally creative, healthy, tasty Chinese spicy & I ate non-spicy. :) only my soup noodle bowl +tip cost about the same as friends who shared 6? Well-done dishes + my $5.99 rose icy dessert - not sweet! Unique. Perfect compliment to spicy...?
The best hunan style chinese food in the area, hands down
