It’s now $19.73 for a super prawn burrito. $13+ for prawn rice bean salsa regular burrito. Pretty shocked. Current SF prices were it’s around $15 for a super prawn. This burritos was quite skinny. Next table over, has burritos that were almost double the size. Ratios were different due to the thinness so taste was just ok. :( not for me anymore unfortunately.
Ordered a bunch of (like 20, I think) tacos for pickup for lunch at my office. Glad I came across this place. Good tacos, plenty of choices to meet everyone's needs. My order was ready to pick up about 20 minutes after I placed it, and had it packed & ready to go as soon as I got there. It can be tricky to order for coworkers and this made everyone happy.
Always impressive, always busy, but always amazing in taste. People who know about this place will wait in line because it's the best. For all of us out of town'ers, definitely a place to try for lunch or dinner. The food is top notch.I've had everything on their menu, but I tend to gravitate towards their Enchiladas and their Tacos. The Lingua Taco is to die for and their Carne Asada is vee delish. Once you walk in, BAM you're welcomed with a smile and that amazing aroma of the grill.I visited them again today after being out of the country for 5 months and the first place I went to, before heading home to my family, was Pancho Villa Taqueria in San Mateo.Cheers...
Limited seating. I guess they were prioritizing online orders as my 3 super tacos and an avocado salad took more than 20 minutes to be made. But still very good and will keep going here for the great food.
Waited 5 min just to order while a few staff members were just standing and chatting, not cooking or packing or anything. No eye contact to acknowledge we’re there. In the middle of our giving the drinks order, like literally in the middle of my sentence, the guy turned and walked away and talked to another staff for a few minutes. When we paid, they gave us the receipt but not they itemized one. Just the total $ one. Waited for 25 minutes for our order. Turns out, the guy said he never took our drinks orders (I had no way to tell without the itemized receipt). We’re 3 adults and they gave us 1 bag of chips. I asked 4 times “can I have 2 more bags of chips?” The two staff member at the register who heard me ask just kept talking to each other and didn’t even make eye contact with me. If you have something important to say to each other, just at least make some eye contact and acknowledge my existence.
Ordered ahead via grubhub to pickup. Showed up, not particularly busy. Had to wait 10 mins past the latest pick up time for them to even start making the food. Took (literally) 10 minutes for them to bag it and give it to me. The manager was asking for my order multiple times, but couldn't find it. Unbelievably uncoordinated. Food was average, 6/10.
This location is awful. I waited for my food for nearly 90 minutes. I asked multiple times for an update on my order status and they refused to confirm what the delay was or if my order was coming. They are extremely rude and unhelpful. They refused to confirm my order and after waiting that long I never revived my food. Do not go to this location. This was a terrible experience. DO NOT GO HERE.
Best salsas! Great tacos all cooked in front of you with "nothing to hide". It's an experience and the food is authentic Mexican cousine. They have something for everybody, from plates to tacos to burritos & quesadillas.The tacos are hearty and burly, everything is tasty and u can choose from an array of salsas & GUAC. My go to spot when I'm hungry & in The Peninsula area. ????
Great service, good food, smells amazing. They have a taconomics happy hour on weekdays. It's amazing. Dollar tacos and aqua fresca. The meats are tender and really flavorful. I'll admit their spicy is fresh jalepenos. Which is too intense for me.
One of the best places for unpretentious and authentic Mexican food in the Bay Area. Fast and Good!
