Price is reasonable. The soup base is not what we expect. But overall food quality is good. However, the waitress does not confirm the order and miss one item I ordered. The chef also forgot to put wood ear, which is included in the combo. The two star is for the quality of the service.
The Hainan Chicken Rice plate is wonderful, especially on a hot day. If you're looking for S'pore Hainan Chicken Rice, this is not it, this is more like a fusion between S'pore and Cantonese due to the sauce and side dishes. It is totally worth ordering, very tender and flavorful. The noodles, go with Mala if you like spicy. The laksa, again it's not S'pore Laksa, but I still order it all the time, as it really hits the spot. They have another restaurant in Millbrae, and quality is consistent.
fish noodle is soooo special, it’s weird but I really like the taste. The noodle is made from fish, not rice or wheat. Very healthy and nutritious. However, chicken soup might be a better choice than having laksa. I will try next time to figure it out

Pretty light and umami taste if that’s what you’re looking for. The fish noodle is quite interesting!
Noodle soup is great, good selections of broth, almost ten different types of noodle options.For appetizers, I think the fish cake is the best, shrimp cake is ok. Chicken and ducks are okay, but not as good as the sister shop porridge and things.
The seats at this restaurant are unbelievably comfortable and they have sufficiently big tables.Good value for money. The 20 hour chicken broth wasn’t that good though.
Got the roast duck, come out cold, had little flavor. Literally nothing but duck, white rice, steamed spinach, and covered in soy sauce. Worst meal I've had in months.
Nice reataurant and yummy food. Our Order arrives quick. Portion is huge for me. We ordered mala based soup, hainan chicken rice and spicy chicken appetizer. End up able to finish only hainan chicken rice and the rest to go for dinner.
