Service was great, food was served quickly and tasted really great. We ordered the beef stew noodle (soup) and pickle pork noodle (dry). Both of the dishes was very balanced in taste and flavor were all there. Generally, when I go to other similar restaurant i notice they either were too salty or not enough flavor, but this place hit the spot. Even the noodles ( freshly made in house) was awesome, they were just right with texture and consistency. I would come back to try the cummin lamb noodle on my next stop. Almost forgot to mention, the portion is generous as well.

Honestly, the noodles are quite tasty, soup flavorful and loads of meat. That’s why despite the following consistent annoyances I begrudgingly come back and hate them all over again:1. They are soooo slow. Especially online orders. No matter what time you place the order add an extra 30-45mins from the pickup time they text you.2. Super confusing pick up and ordering set up. If you do an online order, you have to go in and “check-in” on a screen - that’s typically when they even start making your noodles. Make sure they know you’re there and waiting otherwise they skip over you.3. I’ve seen folks who order in person get their noodles much quicker though they’re still waiting around for a good 15-20mins.4. Because of the above points, I ordered in person last time. (I actually ordered online then cancelled because I remembered how much longer it takes.) I went in and ordered and paid. However, they didn’t refund my cancelled order even though I confirmed with someone on the phone and when I placed my order in person.Taking my time is one thing, but taking my money without delicious food is another thing - and a bowl of noodles here isn’t cheap either! I feel like every time I’ve gone I’ve had a bad experience - ripe for competition to pop up and give us a better experience (hellllo Xi’an famous noodles?!?)

The Cumin lamb with biang biang noodz was delicious.

Nice store ☺️Halloween ? decoration is outstanding outside ?☠️?????

4 stars!? LOL. Such a losing value proposition. $1 noodles bathed in salt water resold for $17.50. Sprinkle some protein. Dust in some chives. Save your hard earned money for something else.

Ordered food on 10/1/21. At pick up I noticed 2 people in the kitchen not wearing masks…not complying with health code requirements. I refused my online order and asked for a refund. The cashier said I would be refunded, took my name and phone number so the owner (Carlos) could call me. No call 6 days later and they charged $82 to my credit card anyway. Terrible service and unsafe health conditions at this restaurant.

Extremely slow, the place is short staffed and not organized well. We ordered online around 12:40 thru Chowbus, the expected ready time was shown as 1:23. When we got to the place our food was completely missed until we reminded them, now we are standing at here waiting for them to prepare meal at 1:48pm. It’s not the first time we’ve encountered.

Service was good, staff was helpful. Vegetarian options were mostly noodles, not many veggies, no vegetarian protein option

Good hand pulled biang biang noodles; can't go wrong with the cumin lamb. It's nice to see they have a nice outdoor seating arrangement nowadays, used to be very crowded inside in pre-covid days. Definitely something we regularly eat at San Mateo !

Ordered the Beef Noodle Soup. While the beef was pretty good and noodles ok, the soup is just way too salty and I feel like it ruins the whole dish.
