Staff is friendly and attentive. Place is cute. Looks new and clean. A bit of a weird location though ....Oysters and beef tongue skewers were good. Everything else was just ok. Tastes fresh but strangely bland on the inside. All the sauces were great on the outside. Angry bird was probably the best out of the 3 we tired.Parking: A few spots in a small parking lot.

Easy to find parking, I'll give them that. The pork belly skewer was really nicely seasoned. The oyster shooter was nice, real sake with quail egg and oyster, would've loved a bit more tobiko though. So now the omakase sashimi. 12 pièces, 2 each of 6 different varieties. They all weirdly had no taste, other than the one dish that was soaked in overpowering sesame oil. No matter salmon with truffle, Hamachi, otoro (which had chewy pieces)...all don't have the original fish taste. The texture was all fine, just no taste. I mean, I'm no omakase connoisseur, but I've had my fair share growing up on Sushi Sam and the likes. This was not right.

New sushi place in a quiet back street. Absolutely delicious. So much selection on the menu and the quality of the food is extremely high. Everything is fresh. Nothing stale to be seen. Welcoming for our little family with two small children. We have been three times now and it has been excellent every time. I agree that the menu is very creative! So many interesting sauces, garnishes and textures. Presentation makes you want to take photos. Staff are impeccable and the place smells very clean and hygienic.our new favorite!

Finally an authentic Sushi spot in San Mateo! The food quality is only exceeded by the quality of the staff. Super friendly, knowledgeable and quick to match your taste to their menu. The Tuna belly was perfect!

I tried their deluxe sushi set before and it was good. This time I ordered the rolls and was also satisfied. Fish is fresh. The flavors works for me.I only give out 5 stars if it exceed my expectations in terms of taste and price. Overall Noma is good and would definitely order again.

Got takeout, for various reasons I didn't get to eating it until an hour later, still good. Hopefully I'll be back again with time to dine in. Got two rolls, well put together and still tasty despite the delayed consumption. Friendly and quick service (granted, it was during a very not-busy time).

Perfect. High quality food, great service, super clean, and great price. They're still running the grand opening 15% off promo for on-site dining too. Highly, highly recommend.

It was amazing food and you should definitely go to it!

Creative and yummy sushi rolls, friendly service. 15% for grand-opening period dine in customers. New sushi place for us!

We are sushi lovers and live in the neighborhood, so we were excited when seeing this new sushi place on google map.Customer service: Ordered online for togo and picked up at store. When taking over the order the server had a bad attitude and said “You need to PAY!”. I said I paid online and she left without any apology. Later they verified my payment and handed us the food, still no apology.Food: Fish was not fresh. We eat the omakase since it was expensive but couldn’t finish the roll. The omakase was better but the sushi places at downtown San Mateo are better- and at the same price range.Would not come back.
