The sushi is constantly great, I have been going to this place for 15 years the chef/owner is so dedicated when making any sushi dish, its delicious I strongly recommend to go there. Fyi they close on Wednesdays.
It’s the first time I couldn’t finish my sashimi and I have diarrhea and stomachache after I ate sashimi, and it’s the worst sashimi and service I ever had.1. Food: Two of us had lunch yesterday.Their sushi and sashimi are not fresh. I feel sick after I ate their sashimi and sushi.I told their non-Japanese chef right after I realized that.He was not polite and insisted that it’s my problem not his or their business’s. He said he didn’t receive any other complaints yesterday.I don’t want to waste my time there so I left.Updates: Both of us have diarrhea and stomachache this morning.2. Service:Terrible. Very slow, not friendly at all.Advice: don’t go.You can get much better, fresher and cheaper sashimi at Suruki supermarket, which is only several blocks away.
Our go to for no-frills, bento box and sashimi appetizer. Some of the best CA rolls (surprisingly, since I don't even like CA rolls).
Nice outdoor patio. Good sized portions. We got tempura, sashimi, hand rolls, and 2 American style rolls. Everything was delicious. This place is great for American style sushi in general including hand rolls. The sashimi was the quality I expected for the price, won't compete with Sushi Same but also way cheaper.Great value.
Sorry, I don't want to be mean. This was my first time that I left my sushi on my plate. It was terrible for ppl who love sushi. I think it is okay for ppl who love rolls.
We were blown away by Ni-Mo on their prices (yes, sushi at a bargain) and the amount you get. I don't think I recall any sushi joint that matches their price and quantity in a bustling downtown area. Now yes, you do get the "discounted" quality of sushi and everything else. Purely based on food, I would give it 3 stars. However, the overall value we got from Ni-Mo is a solid 4 stars. There's a part of me that yearns for Ni-Mo to just focus a little bit more on quality but then, they are literally serving sushi at a discount. Not for dates. Go in when you're just hungry and can eat a horse.
I haven't had good sushi since my favorite sushi restaurant closed down near my house 8-9 years ago.I know where to go now. Thank you Ni-Mo!
I got the bento box C, it was overall an average quality. The rice was horrible, dampened and the oil used in the tempura is old. I preferred quality over quantity any day.
Doesn't taste like authentic Japanese food. The food tastes generic from non-Japaness sushi chef. There are so many better Japanese restaurants in the area.
The food here was of a really low quality and tasteless. We ordered a bento box and the beef sukiyaki dish and we were really disappointed in the taste, it looked off and was not enjoyable. We won’t be back here…
