We got intrigued by the curl Ice Cream when we were strolling the streets in the San Mateo Downtown. So, we thought of checking it out. It's very interesting to see how the curls were made. Based on your flavor selection they will select a juice and pour it on a freezing plate. And they will make it like a thin sheet and then create curls from it. Additional toppings, drizzles are added after this. 2 people can share this Ice Cream for price of $12.50 they give unlimited toppings and drizzles.
Had to drop in because 9 in 10 people on street had the Dumbo cup. There was a long line but the line moved fast.It was worth the wait. Now Icicles tops my list, knocking off Salt & Straw to second place.I got the strawberry fantasy and my boyfriend got the Oreo blast. Both were so different in texture and taste but amazing.Going to try out their every flavor.No picture of the Oreo Blast because he dove right in.
A lot of people compare this place to cold stone but I'm sorry this place is better and so are its toppings. This place makes the ice cream right in front of you, so, you get a show along with ice cream. Cold stone already has the ice cream made and maybe they mix in toppings. Icicles, they make the ice cream right in front of you. Then if you ask for it they even put on a fire show with toasted marshmallows. That's a lot of words for ice cream but I keep hearing how cold stone is just as good but nah
Inviting flavors, friendly staff, and interesting add-on toppings make for a fun snack or dessert with enough to share. A welcome treat as the days get warmer. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
Sometimes a unique take on an old classic is what you need to keep the kids on their toes and make it a more memorable outing. Anywhere that offers a pineapple flavor gets extra marks.

Went there for my first time and definitely enjoyed the experience! 3 amazing workers by the name’s of MADDY, JUN and CAROLINA helped us out with a big smile and we’re very kind and very informative on the menu. Will definitely be coming back especially since the young lady with the Henna Tattoo made my night with her beautiful eyes and very friendly attitude ?
Great ice cream. I wish they had one in the central valley. My family really enjoyed it.

Tasted fine but definitely not worth the $10.75 price. In my opinion, the ice cream being rolled doesn't really anything to the taste, is more just a fad, and takes more time just to still get the same ice cream. If you feel like ice cream being rolled in front of you adds something for whatever reason (Instagram views?), then by all means go ahead, but if you just want decent ice cream, you can most definitely find a better value elsewhere. Friendly service though.
