I travel to eat good food. I'm really glad I made the trek here. We got the ramen with beef broth - it was amazing. Ramen was classic Japanese style - they give you decent portion of meat. You will leave feeling full. Definitely go hungry!Jazz music is great too - love the décor!
Nice place, really good green salad, but vegetarian ramen is creepy and too spicy. I was said that it is medium hot, but, guys, this is NOT medium. Didn’t eat the soup, but was still charged after sharing the complaints. Not sure that I can recommend it.
Great decors, great vibes, and great ramen. The staffs are attentive and quick working. The tonkotsu ramen is rich and creamy of pork flavors with the chewy ramen noodles. The highlight is the large chunky meats/charsiu they give you. The pictures do not give justice how big they are. The Gyoza is pretty good too!
This is truly a special ramen parlor. The staff can be court, and the whole place smells a little funny, but I still keep going back and it is the first place I bring visiting family for ramen. Of all the ramen in the area I have tried so far it is just the best. The noodles are the perfect amount of saltyness and falvorful and at the right texture. The broth and meat cut is always the perfect amount of lean. And that's just the baseline before adding whatever extra topping you want.
My favorite place. The broth for their tan tan men (and other dishes) is cooked fresh from bones in front of you. The staff is polite and accommodating.
Tan Tan Noodle is so good!Chicken karaage is very delicious!
This place has a steady flow of customers but they do their best to seat you ASAP. We didn’t wait more than 2 min to get seated on a Saturday afternoon. The waiter was courteous and got us settled with menus and water. The food was decent. The noodles were great. They tasted so fresh. The shoyu broth was good but wasn’t the best I’ve had. It’s a great place to grab some good ramen with a buddy or loved one. There is seating inside and outside.
The best ramen place I know in the area!
The extra-spicy Tan Tan Men Deluxe - ample, rich, and flavorful; boasting pig cooked in three ways - and the Chicken Karage - crispiest fried chicken ever - are two of my go-to dishes at Himawari. This place has been my favorite ramen place for nearly a decade.
High quality ramen without the wait. Slightly chewy thin noodles in tasty broth. Combos available with both fried rice or gyoza.
