Finally we get a piece of North Beach right in the Peninsula! You get the same quality of pizza with that familiar taste without having to drive and brave all that is SF to get a whole pie! I find the pepperoni tastes better (it's got more spice) in San Mateo than in SF. The clam and garlic has the same familiar taste and feel as well.
Some pizza is just good because it's pizza, but THIS PIZZA is just plain good, PERIOD. I shared a pepperoni pizza with my wife and we agreed that it was the best pizza we had in a very long time. Next time I'm getting twice as much because it was just that good. They do take out only, it seems, so be sure to wrap up your pizza box so it's nice and warm by the time you get home!
Called ahead and ordered a small (feeds 1-2 people) and large (feeds 3-4 people) sheet of pizza, was ready in 15 minutes. It lives up to the 5 star rating. It looked incredibly delicious, it had a heavenly aroma and when I took that first bite... oh my goodness, it was phenomenal. The right amount of cheese, sauce and pepperoni. Look at that picture. Mmm, did I mentioned how delicious it was? Bought it for the family and forget about leftovers, it was all gone. So if you have a large family, ordering 2 large sheets should suffice. I must try the combo next time. And trust me, it is worth it!
It's an honor to leave a rating here. Not only is this more affordable than any other pizza place around but it's better. They have a rectangular shaped Pizza with total and tax comes out to about $25.50. It's damn good with a really zesty but sweet tomato sauce almost like a marinara. With a nice deep pan style crust. I'm not talking about crust around the edges but on the bottom. I went to the location in San Mateo but there's another one somewhere in San Francisco's North Beach area. I want to help this place to sales and I have no money to gain at all. One of my old friends told me about this a while back and I recently made it in I will definitely go back. Golden Boy you really have something going here!
One best pizza in town and now they newly opened in San Mateo for take out and delivery.
Order is ready in 15-20 mins. I love combo, clam garlic, and i get my my little kids a small cheese pizza. Pick-up onlyyy

This was my 1st time here tonight, My friend would talk about the one in San Francisco years ago, Then I' seen the sign along 101 the other day And I decided to try it, This is my new go to spot for pizza , great qaulity and the price is reasonable cant beat it.
I had a combo pizza. It was very good. I particularly liked the sauce, which was more flavorful than I'm used to in the Bay Area. Very herbal and rich. The pizza crust was Detroit style, meaning it's fluffy and thick, almost like a focaccia, but not overwhelming like Chicago style deep dish pizza. I'll go there again.
No pizza like this pizza. It's a must try. You will fall in love.
