Been meaning to visit, but always seemed to be too short on time to enjoy it, finally had a chance to drop in yesterday and it was definitely worth it. To start, the renovation from the prior establishment is fantastic. It's so bright and well appointed, if you'd been here before, you'd never believe it's the same place.Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly, answered all our questions, and made some great suggestions for those who weren't super familiar with the things on the menu and how they might taste.Thirdly, the drinks themselves were excellent. Even if you get one that isn't quite to your taste, it's easy to appreciate the care that went into crafting it, and the presentation. That being said though, all the drinks we had were excellent, so I look forward to working through the menu over time and enjoying the rest.Well worth dropping by if you have the time to enjoy the drinks (and snacks)!
An excellent date spot (though not exclusively, decent group seating and bar seats to check it out solo). Their cocktails were really interesting and showy while being decent/good, food was pretty good, and the atmosphere is amazing.
First of all, let me start by saying I think they have the best bar bites. I went there for a company happy hour with my colleagues and we tried every item on their list. The olive is so good that I even considered getting takeouts...For drinks, the cocktails are delicious and they have a wide range of options. Highly recommend for anyone and I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Interesting cocktails that were well-crafted and an intriguing environment! If you like specialty cocktails that are complex, but balanced, Fogbird is an excellent choice. They have an impressive menu of a wide variety of cocktails, even including sparkling and wine-based ones. We went on a Friday at 8 PM and could barely find seating. The place was pretty full from the after dinner crowd.
Great cocktails, cool vibe, super nice waitstaff. What more could you want in a cocktail bar? Super excited to have an option like this in San Mateo.

I was here for 30 minutes and had to walk up to the bar to confirm my drink. Which they inevitably made. Great ambiance and decent drink but they need to figure it out.

Good place to have a couple of cocktails and some bites. Lots of unique cocktails on the menu and will come back here to try more. Loved the ambience too.We ordered the Angry Bird, Swan Song and the Artichoke Spinach dip. The cocktails were amazing and so was the dip.
