wow it was one of the best korean food i’ve had recently!! loved the galbi beef short rib and consummate the whole experience with korean cold noodle! perfect night! :))

You come here knowing it's going to be good, but it's just so much better than you imagined. The galbijjim was crazy delicious. If you like rice cakes, order extra as it doesn't come with very much. Level 2 spice is the perfect amount. We ordered the normal size, and we couldn't finish it with three people.

Long wait, but the food is well worth it! Strongly recommend adding cheese to braised short rib - super yum and goes well with purple ricePrice is noticeable increased tho thanks to inflation..

Pretty consistent with the one in SF. The line is tad bit shorter here, but I expect this to change soon. Make your way here with a short wait while you can!

Wow - this place is so delicious that I had it twice in week. The braised beef short rib is the must have here and I don't think I've ever had better. It's pricey but worth every salacious bite. Even though I'm a bit lactose intolerant, the cheese topping is a must have and I would also add the noodles for good measure. The flavor is amazing and I got the mild which definitely has a little bit of a kick but it's more flavorful than spicy. The rib literally is so tender and it falls off the bone even before you try to pry it. I love that they don't skimp on it even though they totally could and can only imagine how much time it takes to braise that much beef on a daily basis.Asides from their signature dish, the beef rib soup has must have broth and they continue to fill the side dishes as much as you want!!! I would say the beef short rib dish with noodles and cheese feeds about 3 but it' just about perfect if you get one more entree item. We got the mixed vegetable bibimbap which is pretty average but does the job you need it to. So literally, do not go unless you have at least 3 people as this is way too much for 2. As delicious as the leftovers are the next day, I would still think it's a bit heavy for multiple meals. The wait- there's a Yelp waitlist and it moves more quickly than you'd think but they don't get to it until after the walk-in line at open is done. You always order when you put your name down since it takes so long to make to order but it comes fairly quickly once you are seated. It's still super hot and they torch the cheese right in front of you like a mini show. They are also absolute pros at making the take out orders and all of the containers are perfectly designed to handle the soupy and red goodness that you don't have to worry about spillage. Well worth the wait and the price and just damn, I can wait to go back.

Enjoyed dinner in here last night and amazing galbijjim.I wanted to say Thank you!!!!!!!! She was SUPER friendly. (Honestly I met some rude staff before here) I dunno her name but short hair staff?!Love the food and the staff! Galbijjim is always cool. Love here.

This place is always playing Jay Park. Great music taste, that alone deserves a 6 star review. Please continue playing Jay Park.

This spot definitely lived up to the hype. I came here with a friend for an early dinner last week and we were both thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. We ordered the braised beef short rib with oxtail and cheese on top; the dish was phenomenal in all regards, from the huge portion to the tenderness of the meat. Would definitely recommend when in San Mateo.

Nice sit down experience. Great service, well designed interiorThe kalbi jim was huge. We got it with rice cake, it comes with some vegetable already. Four people could have shared it

Always hits the spot! The nengmyun addition is sure going to be the new addiction!
