Their roast chicken kebab is so good and tenderspanakopita has flakey croissant like layers
This place is great! Meat is flavorful and the rice is too. The grilled veggies are such a great contrast for the meat and the pepper is not too spicy. The yogurt sauce and hummus are so good too! I LOVE this place and so do my co-workers.
I usually LOVE this place. The food is yummy but lately the service has been poor. I call in the order and it is not ready when they say it’s going to be ready. They begin making it when I arrive 20+ minutes after submitting my order. The female clerk needs an attitude adjustment. I will no longer be spending my money there.
Nice little gyro place at San Mateo! Extensive menu… lots to choose from.The guy behind the counter was not very helpful with recommendations even though he did not look very busy!But whatever I tried was delicious so would definitely recommend this place.
The place looks cool. Ithe food tasted great no, i love that there are lot of choices. A must try place.
We got the chicken gyro plate, Alexander kebab, and fries at Cobani.We ended up waiting 30 minutes to get our food since there was a miscommunication amongst the staff about our order. The staff was very apologetic about it and offered us free baklava for the wait.The food was fine, but greasier and saltier than other Meditarranean places I've tried in the peninsula. It's also fairly pricy but the portions are huge, I was able to take home plenty of leftovers.
Great little cafe that goes way beyond a typical gyro shop!
These guys are spot on for the flavors. They offer a wide variety of gyros. The picture is of a chicken gyro. Ambience is not great. Decent pricing.
+ Great taste of grills. We had the mixed grill and the meat/veggies/rice were all very juicy and flavorful+ Unique indoor decoration+ Very large portion~ You pay and tip when you order, before seeing the meal or any service, which made it a bit awkward and difficult to determine the tip amount…
Food is always delicious, well seasoned, not overly salted. Hot fresh pita with amazing humuus. A favorite San Mateo dining spot ??
