The food and price is pretty good. I stop by for to-go food quite often. The tricky is to do online order ahead of time. The wait is long and the waitress isn’t nice. Online order can minimize those, still a good place to go.
Ordered delivery from here one day and it amazing.Bought a whole roasted duck— the meat was tender and the skin was crisp. It was perfect!Also bought some beef chow mein and it was not overly oily like how a lot of places make it.I was very satisfied with my food.
To-go service is terrible. When they say 30 minute wait, it’s really 1 - 1.5 hours or more.My husband and I waited 1.45 hours for a single item..We’ve been here a few times hoping to give it a chance and the food is decent, but there are a lot of items we prefer to order from somewhere else instead. The only reason we still come here is because it’s the only place nearby that makes salted fish fried rice and that’s his fave.
First time ordering. Food was great! Service was poor! They cannot handle takeout orders for a holiday (CNY). Order took almost an hour over promised time (about a total of 1.5 hrs)
We went to Cheung hing as it was local and sold duck. Overall, the service was good, The staff were quick with our order and polite. The restraunt was clean and the food (especially the duck and tofu) and Hong Kong tea was good. I didn't give 5 stars as the beef curry we ordered was not great. Overall we will definitely go back but just not order curry again.
Terrible customer service. Their website was broken and order was supposed to be ready by 414pm and the waitress kept ignoring us. I have a baby in the car wailing and I asked how long it would be, so I can decide if to cancel the order. They told me the chefs are cooking now at 439pm. Another 10 minutes passed and nothing. I asked again and said to cancel my order. They couldn’t cancel the order online and refund my money and the lady who worked there said “it’s not my problem, I’m just working here.” We ended up having to wait until 5pm, and extra 45 minutes per their estimated order online and they were not even sorry about it. The waitress who said it’s not her problem appeared to be frustrated and said “I don’t want to argue with you, don’t look at me!”All this time I was waiting, one of the two waitresses continued taking more phone orders and a line of 5-6 people have been waiting for their takeouts for a while. If you cannot fulfill your orders, either hire more workers or stop taking orders you can’t fulfill.What ridiculous customer service. Never eating from this place ever again even if the food is decent.
Egg rolls are store bought frozen egg rolls charged at a high price and kind of gross (they're the tiny 1 inch ones from places like Trader Joes).Fried rice was just white rice tossed with a few pieces of (BBQ?) pork that was entirely flavorless and coldMongolian beef was 90% onions, a couple small pieces of beef and the beef was so overcooked that it was extremely dry and chewy and difficult to eat.The only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1 is that the fried chicken wings were very good. Crispy, crunchy and juicy. The only redeeming part of this meal.Adding an edit: walked in and mentioned I placed an online order. The person up front had no idea what I was talking about and was very confused.I won't be back.
Chinese food is “homestyle” and cooked fresh. Very typical Chinese restaurant (in terms of decor and seating options) and food is served fairly quickly. I found the food to be just a little bit tasteless. Good place for large groups. Parking lot is very easy
Why would anyone give low rating here! This place just like Chinese dining hall. With low price, authentic Cantonese food, big big plus on roasted duck with sour sauce! Please, be a human. You know the line means good, there just one lady serving all pick up and phone calls! Really miss here! Dont mention the drunk hit the Chung Hing in Southern Bay which lost our last hope to eat good cost-effective Cantonese food:(
Came here and received good lunch experience. The food has an authentic Asian feel to it and the prices are reasonable. There is free parking for this establishment as well.
