This is 7th time we here with family lunch last few months ago there food quality was down but this time absolutely fresh n great taste really was surprise hot pot/dry pot also halal for Muslim community

Didn't expect to find such an authentic Chinese food (Sichuan food) in San Mateo!! Very good portion with decent price. The duck blood is very fresh.Dish on the left: spicy duck blood. On the right: lamb chop in clay pot
Ordered the spicy chicken pot, which we had in Paris and remembered fondly. Took about 20 minutes, the wait staff said it would take time for the chicken to cook which made sense. They offered a free side dish for the wait time which was nice. But the chicken pot was completely different than what we expected (for 50 dollars): it was watery, with at most 10-15 bite-size pieces. The rest was vegetable. Definitely not worth the value and very disappointing.
Both my girlfriend and I got diarrhea right after having dinner there. Saw some other posts with similar experience and would definitely not recommend...
This was my first time and I will go back there again , and again for sure! This place is a gem ! Food was so delicious.Good for large group ! We were a group of 9.We tried the lamb rib bone broth, chili shrimp, chicken corn soup , crunchy shrimp, chicken wings.Everything was delicious!It is in San Mateo Downtown.

Came here on a Saturday night, there were not that many people and no need to wait.The restaurant is clean and very big.The most outstanding here is their service. We didn’t decide what to order and the waiter approached proactively. He was very patient and explained every single options they have.We ordered this we saw chicken, the rib, the tofu, lamb dumplings, lamb screwed and the frog. Everything was very palatable and delicious, and the lamb rib with fries was fantastic.Highly recommend!!
Food was great once we figured out how to order the hot pot. The order was placed on a tablet and we were able to easily add more dishes as we dined.
