Interesting selection of dim sum and chef’s specials. Worth noting are the families with at least three generations who were enjoying their family meal together - an endorsement of the cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Could have given 5 stars if the dim sum had more intensity of flavors and aromas that one would expect to get in Hong Kong.
The dim sum is mostly hits and some misses. The service is by far the worst I've experienced in San Mateo. Every employee is either too busy to talk to customers or clueless about what they should do. Many dishes came without the appropriate condiments and each time it took a long while before someone stops pretending they don't see you and bring it to you. No chance I'm coming back here.
Been eating dim sum here for years. Place has reduced in size and seating. Dim sum is as good as before. Pricing is similar as before for items that I usually order. Will be returning for dim sum.
Came on Thanksgiving for lunch and it wasn’t busy. Food came fast and was good. Soup dumplings and the xo noodles were my favorites.
Best in service and plate changes. Food was terrific especially lobsters in garlic with vermicelli. Safe environment.
Roast duck, tasty and well seasoned meat. Reopening deal, Mon-Fri i.e. $15.5 whole steamed chicken, roast quail etc. Open for dine-in!
Asked if things were vegetarian, they said yes but there was seafood and meat in the dishes.
CLOSED TEMPORARILY - REMODELING. We drove all the way there today, only to find a sign on the door, saying it was closed for remodeling. It will reopen in August. Sorry, I do not remember the exact date. Wish the restaurant had posted this on their website!!
Overhyped. Large portion. Taste is just ok. They are supposed to be known for their congee..but perhaps the congee chef was off when we were there because our bowls of congee…both of them were disappointing.
Finally re-opened after COVID. Food is even better than before since they added new menu. Hopefully they won’t be too busy during weekends since I will definitely come back again!
