My wife loves this place. For me the food is good, but average faire. Now, the margaritas on the other hand are some of the best. Anywhere. In San Mateo off Hillsdale Blvd. that is. (Menlo Park is not as good) We always get the top shelf, or that is what we call them. They go great with the home made salsa and chips. Portions for most plates are generous. You get a good value here.
Delicious food with great service!
Service was good and fast. The fajitas quesadilla in the appetizer menu is great as a meal. The super burrito is huge. We had it with grilled chicken.
Great Mexican comfort food with the families. We like dining Al fresco.Delicious tacos, enchiladas, burritos and plates.I have the Cancun platter. A delicious trifecta of seafood and meats. Chicken, shrimp, crab sautéed with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms in a white wine sauce. Delicious.
Awesome happy hour drinks. The chicken fajitas and pork carnitas tacos are also good and flavorful. The chips are a little dainty though.
Everyone in my party, enjoyed their dinners. I only had a salad, not true Mexican food! The salad was good!
Really great food, service was really good, prices were fair. If I lived closer I would be a regular customer!!
Hands down best Mexican food you can get your greasy little hands on.. I'd drink that shrimp sauce off the floor. I think about this place a lot.
Being a vegetarian with dairy/ eggs being ok... we enjoyed the guacamole, chips, veg fajitas with eice/bean on soft corn tortillas, fajitas veg burrito, cheese/veg quassadia... oh must ask for a spicy sauce/dip eat by itself or mix and matchService by Fernando has been the ?
We set up an impromptu U-shaped table for 16 on the outdoor patio around the tree stump, and parked our car right next to it with the radio playing Mariachi. It was a blast :-)
