Great Service ! Great Coffee !This afternoon, we ordered three pour over coffees and one green tea matcha latte. When the staff were preparing the pour over coffees, they had forgot to make one so they delivered two instead of three. They apologized of this mistake and swiftly followed up with the last pour over. We were waiting outside of the store, and one of the staff hand delivered the last coffee to us. We also received a token for a free cup of coffee next time! We were totally understanding of the mistake, and would like to thank the staff for making sure our order was fulfilled.
In A Nutshell:-This Blue Bottle Coffee location is conveniently located in the Bay Meadows area of San Mateo.-The neighborly feel just invites you right in along w/ the smooth aroma's of coffee beans being poured over.-Speaking of pour overs, the Ethiopia is a pretty good one at $4.50 a cup.Overall, if you live in the area, this a nice gourmet coffee shop to have close by.
Blue coffee is the most consistently good brand you can find in the area. Great beans

I really loved the coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee - got the New Orleans Coffee and Hojicha Latte and neither disappointed.
interesting location near a lot of new developments. nice plaza with some seating indoors and outdoors. coffee was okay, not phenomenal but not bad.
It is definitely a place to visit for coffee fans! They serve craft coffee and fresh pastry, and it is all delicious and yummy!!! Recommended!
Used to be a big Blue Bottle coffee fan from San Francisco Ferry Building. Then Nestlé's bought a major stake and the enterprise has gone bougie. Coffee is still good and counter service is friendly, but: coffee and merchandise are overpriced. 12 oz is the largest size?!!! No soy milk; but have goat milk. Go figure. Not impressed, back to Peet's and Starbucks.
Had the Sweet Latte and a pastry. Everything tasted great. The servers were super nice. Kinda spendy for the size served.
Great coffee. Servers were super nice, friendly and helpful. The space inside is a bit tight but the outside is so much better.
