I hoped until the end.This is a hole in the wall type of establishment, but with some claims of being able to deliver a better experience than a chain.Table was sticky, wait was long, and the pizza was expensive and underwhelming.
I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl when I used to live on Cary Avenue. I live in Sacramento now but every time I come to San Mateo, I have to stop by and get some pizza. Lately we’re hooked on the Mexican pizza! But my go to is always the combination sandwich yummy or literally any pizza. Mr. Aldo, thank you so much for the delicious pizza that I can always count on. Don’t ever leave Cary Avenue!!
Been going here for over 4 decades. Love the thin crust NY style pizza. Star of India (jalapenos makes it Indian ??♂️) is a usual but the vegetarian (mushrooms) is great too.
Pizza was good. Unfortunately it wasn't ready upon arrival(pick up) as the website gave the estimated time. Had to wait about 20 minutes after.
Great family made pizza, atmosphere and will be going back for sure.
This is Pizza!!! I been going there for last 10 years. Same taste and same service. We love it.
In the year and a half that we’ve lived in San Mateo Aldos has been our place to go for pizza. Unfortunately last nights pizza didn’t measure up: the toppings were less than usual and they weren’t placed evenly over the pizza so some slices had toppings and others very little.
Pizza is good that could work on cleaning the place
Both food and management major disappointments. So much interaction between families of employees and employees themselves make for a noisy dining room if dining experience. Phone is taken off hool before 8:30pm. Is management ever around?
Love their pizza always friendly and good service.
