It's a great place to bring the family for dinner and watch the SF Giants, Warriors or Niners play. Best wings in San Mateo!

Because downtown SM is a sports bar desert this is my place to go. Lots of TV's. Good for sports days. Food is pretty good. I liked the carnitas tacos. They give you 2 but I got enough meat to make 4. Will definitely get them again. Since they already make fish and chips I would suggest they add some Baja tacos with a chipotle crema to the menu.

Great burgers, beer, and service. So impressed with the memory of the gentleman waiter and bartender.

Great beer/ tomato drink

Bartender is an absolute champ. Great spot.

Great find in San Mateo! High energyand talented bar tenders, fresh foodand reasonable prices. A fun place!

This place is pretty hit or miss.COVID warning: this isn't the safest place I've ever been. The bartender / server wears a bandana around his face rather than a mask, and the surfaces don't seem super clean, but I know everyone's trying their hardest right now. Some things here are really tasty, surprisingly so for a dingy sports bar - I recommend the sliders, the burger, the fries. I can't remember if the wings were good or not. I don't recommend the BLT, it was really dry and just... not good.I'll probably come back to watch a game or something once outdoor dining opens back up.

I had some delicious sliders but very oily. Dripped on my clothes.

Long layover at San Fran?

Long layover at San Fran? Come here!! I was travelling solo to Australia when some strangers and I decided to go see the golden gate bridge. The weather had other plans though with low visibility leaving us without a photo opportunity - and thank goodness. We stopped off by this bar and it was heaven. Local, unpretentious and friendly people with proper American food. I had the chilli, chicken wings and of course we had a pitcher of budweiser. My only regrets are: 1) not bringing cash - I still don't get the tipping system, but I know the service we had deserved a proper tip. 2) ordering the uber back to the airport before realising that the supermarket nearby was soooo different to the ones we have in England and I easily could have spent at least half an hour just looking at the ice cream. If you grew up watching American sitcoms and want a night pretending you're in one (with a nice cast and tasty food) this is it
