This place is amazing. Huge servings and incredible quality. You can tell the owners really care about their food and service. Never had a bad experience here. Every order has been accurate. Ordered the family meal for 3 for my family of 6 and we have so much food left that we have dinner for tomorrow and even possibly the next day. Amazing value and flavor. Even their Parmesan cheese and dressings are above and beyond expectation. Love that they offer sauce with no meat so I can also join in on dinner for my meat eating family. The lettuce for the salads is always fresh and the sauce is incredible.
Ordered the Tuesday spaghetti special and paid $3 to add meatballs. Got the order- no meatballs. The sauce was distressingly sweet, almost as if they had poured a cup of sugar and were trying to make it into a dessert. The pasta itself was over cooked to the point that it was so soft it was almost like canned chef boyardee spaghetti. The overall reviews i see for this place are excellent, but next time I’ll stick with the pizza…
The sauce was so sweet, I could not eat it. I know many people like a sweet marinara/pizza sauce but not me. Bad gluten free crust, too. However, they are very nice there and it is quite popular.
Sorrento's is a great place to eat. I Started coming to try out the pizza (which was great) & I came back for the Calzones. They make some delicious Calzones with very fresh ingredients and the tomatoe sauce they provide is super tasty. They have great customer service (one time I had a small issue with my calzone which was my fault in the way I ordered it) and they had me come back and cooked one for me on the house , no charge..I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves pizza and Italian food.

The only place we order pizza in San Marcos. This is one of those special local places that you are lucky to find. We usually order two pizzas…cheese and supreme. Also order the chefs salad…it’s loaded with cold cuts and cheese. So dang good.Their sandwiches are amazing as well. The meatball sub is huge. The combo sandwich is tasty as well.
Today was my first time trying this pizza and it was delicious great taste and very cheesy! I went in an the owner was very welcoming I will definitely be returning for the pizza and the great customer service!
Tried the gluten free crust. I find that many gluten free crusts have a lot of sugar and this tomato sauce was especially sweet today so it wasn't great. Also the crust was very tough so I think the cooks need to be more gentle. It's not like a normal flour. I will try it again. Their regular pizza is delicious..but I cannot eat it anymoreHate to give up this place..the service and regular food is so goodI'll give it one more try!

best sauce I ever had and their pizza crust is to die for. This restaurant has been around for decades and there's a reason...fantastic handcrafted Italian food.
