Grew up working in a pizzeria for 4 years on the east coast in Jersey this is the only local spot I will hit for pizza. Very difficult to find good quality pizza out here but union pizza absolutely hits the spot. Not only do they sell by the pie but also by the slice which I really like. They have great deals on slices. Food is great. Owner is super nice. This place is exactly what I am looking for when I want pizza.
I just picked up a large “New Yorker” pizza from here yesterday and was delectable.Their “New Yorker” has pepperoni, beef, mushrooms, and garlic on a red sauce pie with mozzarella of course. Only $19.99 for an 18 inch large!My buddy and I both agreed that this is now in our top ten best pizzas we’ve ever tasted in our lifetime.The value, taste, and quality is far above other local pizza spots. It’s that good, support these guys!
I've been looking for good New York style pizza in North County for years.I think I finally found it. Although, the pizza was amazing, its customer service was even more so. I ordered my food through the Slice App, but the driver from Slice apparently tried to pick up and deliver the pizza an hour before it was requested. So, they (Slice) canceled my order. I was pretty bummed out, until an hour later, when the owner of the restaurant delivered the pizza herself, even though the cancelation was no fault of their own. I can't remember the last time I was so pleasantly surprised by a companies service. It's almost like they actually care about their customers. What a novel concept. ? My new pizza spot!!!
Delicious pizza and garlic knots! We come here regularly and get some slices. 2 slices and a drink at a very good price! Friendly staff and clean tables. Be this Pizza Union on your must try list!
Came out to visit a friend. She took me here to try it out. I have to say the customer service was amazing! The moment you walk in they welcome you. The pizza was amazing! I highly recommend this place!
Stopped in after work.. heard about this place so i ordered two slices one regular pepperoni and one New York style and to my surprise they both were really good thin sliced but very tasty!! Oh and a got a drink with the two slices . Great lunch spot and or dinner for Pizza night, DeLish!!
We made a quick stop at Pizza Union on the way to San Diego. Overall we can really recommend this place. The pizza is delicious and the staff extremely friendly! We would definitely come back.
First of all, the customer service is IMPECCABLE! The beautiful young lady with the dark hair who works at the cashier is sooooo sweet & professional. While I waiting on my order she brought my slice to me at the table, gave me a free drink and dessert. She was very friendly.Secondly, my order came out in a timely manner and it was super fresh!Third, the price was so reasonable for such a large pie (18” with several toppings).Lastly, I lived on the east coast for years before this and I really have to honestly say that the taste and quality of this pizza is a 10/10, even with coming from the other side with really high expectations of “REAL” pizza. It was delicious!!!!I will never get pizza anywhere else ever again as long as I live in San Marcos. I’m so impressed with this place and happy I found them.
I don’t know how this place has 4 stars. It’s the worst pizza we’ve ever had. Absolutely zero taste and very soggy. We ordered two large pizzas and my family had one piece each and ended up making sandwiches because the pizza was that bad. Even made one of my family members sick. I won’t ever order from this place again.Edit: Shortly after writing his review, the owner called me and offered their sincerest apologies, offered me a refund and offered to remake the pizza. I do appreciate their quick reply and attention to detail when it comes to their customers.
Best pizza in the entire north county, garlic knots and even pasta is great. Chef is always welcoming and kind, the man knows what he is doing.
