Some restaurants have had service suffer during the pandemic - that is not the case for Pizza Nova. They have fantastic service, delicious food, reasonable pricing, and a comfortable environment. I went today with my mother in law and two year old son for lunch and our host and waitress were so accommodating and kind. Our waitress made sure my son was comfortable with a booster seat, got him crayons and something to color, double checked the lid on his drink was on tight so he wouldn’t spill, and gave us extra bread rolls for the road because he liked them so much - and this was all without us asking for any of it. Just so hospitable. I love going there and will continue to recommend to people. Thank you for an enjoyable, stress-free lunch!
We came here for Easter Dinner 2022. I know, sounds odd, but we were taking a long weekend over Easter Sunday in San Marcos and came here for dinner. My younger son got to pick so we ended up here. Great selection of pizzas, all perfectly done. My wife and I split a large Caesar's salad and we ordered a variety of pizza's: Goat Cheese, Pepperoni White, Portobello, Pancetta & Truffle Oil Pizza, and the Italian Meat. Really well done and very rich pizzas. We'd definitely go back! Pizza Nova is in a strip-mall with plenty of parking, so no issues there. Our server, Emily, was great and had recommendations for us as well. We really enjoyed it. It is a little pricey: Four pizzas, one salad - $125
I would go again, sorry no photos. I wasn't planning on reviewing. I ordered the works pizza medium (enough for 2), fettuccini Alfredo with chicken (also enough for 2). I'm a big guy so I ate all the chicken Alfredo and 2 slices of pizza. Sadly the best item was their garlic bread balls? They aren't sticks but not quite balls either. Anyways. Garlic bread is on point and you can ask for more. The 1st slice was delicious, the 2nd was okay. Idk something about the temperature dropping made it less good however the veggies on it was very tasty, the meat was typical flavor no spice surprise on the meat. The chicken on the Alfredo was delicious not too dry and not too moist. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and flavorful. The fettuccini which is my favorite pasta was okay. It didn't stand out which normally it does for me. I also ordered a something Mai Tai which the first 2 sips was delicious and then the rest was terribly strong which I'm assuming I forgot to mix it enough. The glass of water at the end was surprisingly tasteful and delicious. The staff was super nice and quick to react. We were a party of 5. The other people order a shrimp wrap, some type of soup, beer and some other mix drinks. They all said it was very tasty but I can't chime in on what they ordered but visually.. I'm definitely ordering a chicken wrap next time with fries because it's BIG. Anyways, i hope you do try them out. We arrived at 7 pm and we were seated within 5 minutes. We were served drinks within 5 minutes and our order was taken within 7 minutes so overall really fast for a restaurant. Our server was really nice, i didn't catch her name even she told us 2 or 3 times.
Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Couldn't expect a better experience. The pizza was, on the other hand, was just decent. I I were in Jersey I would be offended and demanded my money back. First and last time.
Excellent service great pizza and only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because although the calamari was yummy it could have cooked a few min more, but I like mine a little crunchy on the outside, little chewy. Other than that ... Good times
Came here with hubby for dinner. I ordered a pasta dish and it was really GOOD!! Our server was friendly and helpful without hanging over us. Good food!! Good atmosphere!! Will be on my regular rotation for date nights!!

Love the bread. Came after a funeral and bar tender was rude to my friend who's grandpa just passed. Even the waitress noticed. People shouldn't let their ego get in the way when someone ask for a drink to be made a different way. I would try this place again, just not anytime soon.
The food is amazing and our server was wonderful. Our kids loved the pizza and garlic bread bites. Our gorgonzola and pear pizza was delicious and well balanced in flavors. The pepperoni white pizza is a great twist on a traditional pepperoni, except it has an alfredo, instead of marinara, sauce.
