I will be generous with giving 3 stars considering this is a new restaurant and want them to do well, but perhaps their staff does not yet understand the importance of making the customer happy. It was a HOT, humid day in San Marcos (91 degrees), and we were looking forward to escaping the heat at this new place we saw off the road….. sounded like a good idea to have an ice cold beer and pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza was decent and they have a great beer selection, BUT their AC was off. With a pizza oven open to the dining area, it would be nice to have the AC on so that the customers could enjoy their dining experience sweat free. We may try this place again, but if they’re not willing to sacrifice a little bump on their energy bill on a hot day to keep customers coming back to dine in, not sure how often we’ll be back. Best of luck….

Decent pizza, much better if you eat there than take it to go. Modern restaurant with a decent beer selection and some good food options other than pizza. I recommend the margarita pizza and the buratta salad.
Try the Buffalo Chicken pie...it's so good!
Pesto mushroom and bbq chicken pizza. Not many places offer a mushroom pizza and Pizza Bar’s is so freaking good. The BBQ chicken is delish too. Definitely stop by if you are looking for some good pizza.

So the actual pizza isn’t anything special. Not worth the high price in my opinion. I think the owners spent a lot of time and money on making the restaurant look good instead of focusing on training employees and the things that are more important and actually matter in a business. Also, how do they get away with not wearing masks? Employees are required to wear masks since December 15th. How disgusting to not wear a mask during a pandemic and handle food. Let me guess they don’t like washing hands either because it doesn’t actually prevent the spread of Covid. ?
We love PizzaBar! We're picky about pizza and love the crisp thin crust. Our favorites are the PB Supreme and the Pesto Mushroom, which is perfect if you don't tolerate a lot of cheese. The salads are all large and delicious and the selections of on tap beer and wine just top if all off along with impeccable service from a friendly staff and owner! Highly recommend!
I never wrote reviews but this place is disgusting I order food and found two pieces of hair in my food that was baked into the cheese! Also no one wears masks were in a middles of a pandemic for gods sake! But forget that! The hair is disgusting and it shows how u sanitary there are!
Keep killing it! Everybody was attentive while waiting for my order. Pizza, meatballs were on point. Will be back for more. Adam the owner was also very caring. Couldn't be more happy. Thanks!
