Prices was a shock at first but I’m not a local so I’m not sure if it’s average price or not. The broth in the soups were delicious and actually felt like it was worth the money.
I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants, and I live in Orange County, but this one serves the BEST Ban Mi sandwiches (forgive me if I spelled it wrong). Coming back here when I go back down to San Diego
So I've been craving Pho for the past two days. All the other Pho places has their open hours listed at 10 am, but this one has it listed at 9 am. Sweet! So I arrive here at 8:35 am and waited till 9 am to go and enter. I'm in front at 9:05 am and their open sign isn't on and the door is locked. Alright so maybe a few min more? Nope, it wasn't till 9:32 am that we saw a guy come out, open the door, the open sign is turned on now, and he goes and takes a smoke break before going inside. Alright, so 30 min later, no big deal, its still before 10 am. We go up to go inside, and the door IS STILL LOCKED. We knocked to see if it was an accident and looked inside. Nope, intentional. A lady tried to go inside to eat, nope, she was denied since the door is locked yet the Open sign is turned on. At this point we're kind of getting tired of waiting as we are hungry. We start to drive out to go to another Pho place near by that opens at 10 when we see at 9:45 am the door opening at stay opened. So, let me get this straight...the Google listing and their store says it opens at 9 am, BUT THEY OPENED AT 9:45 AM. I don't mind if they open at 9:45, but at least tell us when we knocked that you do. Or have some signs up like some other restaurants that due to Covid, hours are 9:45 am till closing. So to spare everyone the trouble for today, treat this place being opened at 9:45 am and not 9 am, and they won't reply to you if you knocked, cuz they didn't for us at 9:32 am, 32 min AFTER their listed "9 am open" listing.
Would you recommend this restaurant? NOThere service is terrible. They gave me a bill for a price that was not on the menu, So I asked them about it but their answer to my questions was too unfriendly. They said the seafood noodle was $16.50.
The waiter was friendly and the food was served quickly. The potstickers are very good and crunchy. The decorations are charming. Good restaurant for a quick and satisfying meal.
Wonderful phó. Authentic, extremely fast and gracious service. My GO TO spot for Vietnamese food, you will need a to go box and you will come back.
So sorry to say but it is ok food. No flavor. Service is terrible.? Over priced for what you get. Filet mignon looks like pieces of old meat.
Horrible service, good food. Ordering should be easy no?If you want a smaller portion, SAY it or they will assume you want the biggest. I got my order wrong twice but they did not seem to want the responsibility. I asked politely and explained what I wanted and got just more green onion put into the same plate and given back to me.I asked for no. 27 simple steak pho, medium...I got, big AF beef with tripe pho and of course after two times trying to ask for my plate I just ate it and payed for this large soup.My hunger was gone seeing the tripe, did not even finished the Pho...
If you're looking for Vietnamese food in North county this is one of the very few legitimate places. The food is always delicious and fresh. The service is always unbelievably quick and with a smile. Also a great spot to have a traditional Vietnamese beer and traditional Vietnamese coffee. Be warned if you have the coffee you will be up all night.
Best pho is north county.... great flavor and real authentic.
