Every time I'm in town visiting, I always make time to eat here. The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and the place is decently pricedYou ask for a rare steak and you get a rare steak. Not medium or medium rare. Absolutely delicious

We were the only ones in the restaurant. So we had fast service. Senior menu was hefty servings. Cheese omelet/hash browns and hot chocolate was top notch

Belgian waffles done right! Chicago-style deep soft and perfect! This in the only place I’ve found in California that matches the Belgian waffles I used to get at Dolly’s Cafe in a Chicago old-town suburb; and they were the best in the area.Pegah’s is San Marco’s best kept secret. This is where the real locals go. The place is way busier than you’d think, located in a humble little strip-mall in an out-of-the-way area of town. The atmosphere is vibrant, the portions are generous, servers attentive, and the chefs are true gentlemen. After your visit, grab a sunflower bouquet from the little florist next door… your day will be off to the best start.

Family owned. I've been eating here for more than 20 years. Many of the wait staff & cooks have been here just as long. The food is great, portions are ample & the prices are reasonable.

Been here several times throughout the years and should've given them a shout out sooner. Breakfast has always been consistently good with a nice, clean interior. Service is not overly friendly like some hometown cafes; it's straightforward and to the point, which I like. Only knock is the coffee and juices (OJ) could use an upgrade, but that's a minor thing.

One of my favorite breakfast locations. They recognize their customers. Excellent service and the food is great. Also daily specials.

TL;DR: you need to go hereThis is a exactly like Momma Cat’s but less expensive and crowded. Came on a Sunday and immediately noticed how fluid everything was. Like controlled chaos, the floor plan is very open. I just walked up to the bar and they gave me the menu, seemed more like a traditional cafe where you seat yourself. The food was very homemade-esc which was a good thing given the impression it made on google maps. The food only took 10 minutes for them to make, normally when I go by myself to breakfast spots it takes longer. Just all around good prices good food good service. You need to go.

When we travel we seek out all the mom & pop type restaurant, and this one was hands down great. Breakfasts was amazing and the staff was awesome!

Good service

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the portions were generous! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good home-cooked meal.
