I ordered online for pick up and my order wasn't ready but that's okay since the wait was minimal. I saw our sandwiches halfway ready with the meats on top of the breads. The two sandwiches were the same but one was ordered with extra meat. I asked them to check to make sure it had extra meat and they said yes, but from the looks of it they had the same amount on each. So I asked again and she just lifted the lettuce and said it was extra and proceeded to finish the order. Sure enough, once I brought it home, my child whose it was for knows the difference and said it did not have extra like ordered. This is the 2nd time this happened at this same location. I wouldn't order anything customized online when ordering here to make sure you watch so the sandwiches are made correctly. The first time was ok but this time was frustrating since I asked twice to check and they still got it wrong.
Great sandwich/sub joint for a chain restaurant. They're dependably excellent and the sandwiches live up to their descriptions. Best cheese steak subs in San Diego, imo, due to their availability, don't always feel like driving down to San Diego proper. The Jersey Mike's in San Marcos has excellent service characterized by friendly staff and speedy meal preparation.

I’ve never had a bad experience there, and I probably go there at least 2 a week. I love there bread and the way they cut the meat super thin.
