The steak burger was amazing and the turtle sundae was incredible!

I had to go through the drive through twice to get my order right and I was met with attitude when I did. I had been very clear and Patient about my order. I still never got it right and just gave up. Definitely not worth it 10/10 don’t recommend. Also it was absolutely disgusting inside there. They were not all that busy for them to 1) get anyones orders wrong or 2) for there to be food on the floor and trash on the counters like there was.

We ate here 4 times on our Visit to San Diego. Yum, the custard is so creamy. The hamburgers are different. Made out of Shredded steak. I think you will either love or not. The chicken strips are really tasty! You just have to give them a try to see if they are to your liking. no pictures, we where too busy eating. I recommend.

The place was nice and clean.Service was good.Food was ok, but for the price I was hoping to get a normal beef patty portion, not sure if it is the style of the hamburger, but if so... Then I think they are expensive.Onion rings, cheese fries and the milk shakes are good.

Nice fast food place. Their burgers were ok. Order was ready in no time but soft drink machines were dripping water. The trash bin was full and no one approached to empty them.

The onion ring portions are a little small but other than that it's good, they have steak burgers and custard so I can't complain.

I fell in love with Freddy when I was staying with family in the mid west, and was so happy to find some when I moved to Southern California. I wish they were more popular they are by far the best fast food hamburger you can get. Their fries are also the best and who doesn’t love frozen custard.

Where’s the beef? My burger appeared to have some over cooked hash browns instead of carne. I tried the Yuma location but don’t remember the patties being so small. Don’t get me wrong, nothing went to waste…and the fries should be called impossible fries. They’re so darn difficult to eat. Fry sauce is a good option. Staff is on top of things here…orders taken, expedited, lobby is clean. But where’s the beef.

Freddy’s stores it’s custard out in the open exposed. All day it passes down the shaft into the container that doesn’t have a lid. I would guess they use about 4 tablespoons of meat to make a burger.

Delicious and different! Unique flat burgers and rich frozen custard.
