Pricey for what you get. My food was good, but my sister in law did not like her seafood salad. She only ate a few bites. Waitress asked her if she wanted a to go box. She told her ,"no, it's not good.". Waitress just said, "oh". Then, she walked away. No offer of getting her something else, or taking it off of the bill. Will not be going back.
I gave 2 stars because the waitress was super nice and attentive, otherwise it would only have been the lowest rate of 1 star. The food is terrible! I ordered the Swordfish with Romano Potato and Broccoli. The food was well presented, but was very disappointing. The fish was overcooked and dry, the Broccoli was served raw and the potato wasn't a fresh potato. It was some sort of dry mash that was slapped onto the plate with a scoop. It tasted like dried powdered potato from a cheap paper box. Not what to expect from a restaurant. I won't go back there again. The food is also way to overpriced for what it is.
Came here twice in one week as the food and service were excellent. Ample parking and we were seated on the outdoor patio immediately both Thursday and Friday evenings. My colleague had the Salmon Salad both nights. I had the Cajun catfish and combo fish kebab. Nice selection of wines and craft beers. Food came out swiftly and service was friendly and fast. The fish was super fresh and tasty. The quality was high and the prices matched the quality. Totally awesome dining experiences.

So there are some things you can depend on…. Fish House Vera Cruz has not made a change to their menu, except to accommodate Covid, over the past decade. There is comfort in knowing you won’t be getting “foam” with an emulsion of something you can’t pronounce or have never heard of. What do we need right now? Something that Fish House Vera Cruz serves—pure dependability and deep comfort. And definitely swing by their bar and try their cocktails.
The Manhattan Clam Chowder was excellent and the rolls are amazing. I had the salmon salad and the salmon was very good but the salad was just spinach and greens.
We love this place! They Have the best monkfish which tastes like lobster...also had today chocolate mousse pie...heavenly!
Our waitress was great and so was the food. I had the fish tacos which tasted amazing. My son had the grilled shrimp with the carrots and mashed potatoes in the carrots were so good he ate them first.
Okay so seriously just had the very best mealI don't like broccoli but I got the broccoli and it was Heavenly along with the carrots as my sides. the blackened swordfish was just unbelievably fantastic, hubby had clam chowder so amazing I had a bite. definitely the best ever the other five in our party equally had very delicious meals and our waitress Joy was a joy.
