Friendly service! Great food! Had Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream!! Eggs were perfectly cooked, along with my ham and husband's patty sausage! I love the grits! The chef, Santiago, is a STAR!!?? Then, I brought home slices of our fave pie for later!! PERFECT!! 5 STARS!!

We found this restaurant after our favorite café closed in Vista. The food is good but extremely expensive. I understand that food costs have risen but almost $20 for a three egg omelet is excessive. They nickel and dime you on ingredients. For example, I asked for no tomatoes, no Ortega chilies on my omelet but asked for spinach. Instead of subbing one ingredient for the two I removed, I was charged an additional $1.50. The "specials" are $0.50 off the menu price which is hardly a special. Lunch is not any better. $16.00 for a sandwich. The servers are lovely, I really love Mary, Sandy, and Summer. The bussers are amazing (sorry I didn't get their names). It's a shame this place is so expensive. I would eat here more often if it wasn't almost $50 bucks for breakfast or lunch for 2 people. I frequented my old café 3+ times a week at least. I also have a huge family and we go out together all the time but we can't justify paying a couple hundred bucks for breakfast. It's breakfast, I will make it at home. It hurts me to say because I love supporting small businesses; this place is too expensive.

Went to this restaurant on Sunday May 1st. Have been here before and consider the food here average at best. Ordered the mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and turkey, the gravy and stuffing were tasteless, and the turkey was dry. Ate a very small portion of my plate and complained to the waitress, she informed me the owner was there and that she would let her know. After several minutes of being ignored we paid for the bad food and left, I would give 0 stars if I could! Save your money because these people just don't care about customer service.

Breakfast was delicious and fresh, just what was needed to start my day! The pies are also so good and there's so many options. The burgers looked so good and were huge, I will definitely be back for lunch! Lastly, the staff was so sweet and helpful. I had what they recommended and it did not disappoint.

The place is clean. The waitress was very friendly. The breakfast veggie omelet was delicious. They have hole pies to-go. Lots of tables inside and outside. As soon as I sat down, they asked me what I wanted to drink. I received my food within about 10 to 12 minutes. Omelette and coffee cost me approximately $19.00. The restaurant is located in an outdoor mall (strip mall).

I had the beet salad with grilled chicken and blue-cheese dressing. Salad was fresh and pretty. The dressing was generic and I would have loved pickled onions or pickled beets in this, but it was very good despite the lack of some acid to balance the sweetness of the cranberries. Pies looked great, but I wish the strawberry rhubarb didn’t have a cinnamon oat topping. The flavors didn’t mesh for me personally. The Chocolate creme pie looks great and was a nice consistency. The ambiance was easy going and not in any kind of rush. Christian soft rock was the musical flavor of the day. I don’t know if that is everyday, but the volume was a bit much for just a few people in the restaurant at the end of the lunch rush. Service was very nice and polite, and if they didn't have an answer for my questions then they were comfortable checking into it for me.Overall, a place I will come back for breakfast to check out, but maybe not for pie.

Excellent food & excellent service. I have loved everything that I have tried here & the service is wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and kind. I can't wait to come back again soon. I highly recommend.

I eat here frequently, great little cafe atmosphere. Custom pies can be ordered and they’ve been great about accommodating larger parties.

Summary: Racist waitress, mediocre food, do not come here if you are minority that wants to be treated like a decent human beingThe food was mediocre at best, but the *racist* waitress warranted that I write this review. For context, I'm asian american, and my dad and I decided to try this place out. Our waitress was an old white lady with white hair. She was talking it up and laughing with all the other tables (more context: the place was predominantly occupied by white customers). Come our table, and she doesn't even make eye contact with either of us. Takes our order and then quickly goes to the next table to start chatting and laughing with the next table even asking "What's the occasion for coming here today?" which turned out to be one of their birthdays (again, white family). Takes her sweet time getting our order, I asked for hot sauce and she brought the hot sauce but instead of putting it on our table, she offered it to the birthday family's table to which they took it. I asked again, but it took a couple rounds of her walking before I asked someone else. She goes to the next table full of older white ladies like herself, laughs it up, goes to next table. I notice that she's avoiding tables which happen to have minorities such as myself, and if she does interact, she quickly (and half-assedly) fulfills their request before going back to the safe haven white tables. At this point it's pretty blatant that she was ignoring us as I had to ask multiple times for condiments, boxes, and the check. She came back with multiple checks and asked which of them was ours before heading to the birthday table and quickly placing theirs on the table without asking. My dad and I didn't say anything because she definitely would've spit in our food. I can safely say that this location is not inclusive to minorities. My dad and I are very disappointed and we will not be coming again.

This was our first time visiting Debbie's in many years. The service was wonderful and the food very delicious. The highlight of the day was getting one of their pecan chocolate chip pies, it's simply the best. I would highly recommend visiting.
