Beyond disappointed.I love going to the nordhal location because they are always able to make the dishes we order vegan.Went to the place a couple time, always order the same dishes and always ask for them to be made vegan which is usually agreed with the person on the phone while placing order.Today while making an order they told us that two dishes cannot be made vegan and were never made vegan.I am very confused as I order so many times these dishes and they have always comfirmed with me that they were made vegan…. :( will go to the nordhal location for now on….
I went to curry craft not to long ago and the food was great but the service made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Tried to be friendly with the staff and they were very cold . But they were being very greeting and nice to everyone else . After a while i began to felt like it was because of my skin color .probably won’t go back but the food was good
This is one of the best Indian food restaurants in Southern California. Excellent quantity and taste is close to India. My favorite Indian restaurant.
This place is simply awesome, one of the best Indian food in San Diego. We have been living in San Diego for 20 years, several India restaurants opened and closed, but this one stayed, so there must be something. It's also conveniently located along with great tasting food. We definitely recommend it, and feel free to reach out to staff, if you are not satisfied. They really care for their customers.
Curry Craft on S Rancho Santa FeThis isn't a comment on their food--which is good--but on their management. Last year we were emailed a birthday discount, good for up to 20 days after the birthday. When we came on the last day of the expiration, a sign on the door said closed today, come back tomorrow. We did--and they wouldn't honor the discount because it was a day past the expiration. We ate there, anyway.This year we tried again with the latest birthday offer--and, again, they were closed--this time for remodeling. Learning from last year's experience, we returned a few days later, before the expiration date, and were told they have new management and they won't honor the discount. This time we didn't stay.So we're 0-for-4 here. Needless to say, we won't be returning. There is another Curry Craft off of Nordahl. They don't send discounts but that's okay. They didn't break any promises.
Eat here!1. They do have a LUNCH BUFFET during the weekdays currently, so it's great if you are feeling real hungry during your lunch and want some good food. Yum!!2. The staff are very friendly. Bobby in particular is super nice and accommodating. Great hospitality! Such nice people.3. The food itself was wonderful. I really enjoyed the potatoes, and the chana, and the samosas, the chutneys, and the rice pudding...I could go on. Lol. Awesome food!3.5. Did I mention they have a weekday LUNCH BUFFET?! GOSH I LOVE LUNCH BUFFETS! XD4. Very reasonable price for a lunch buffet. For me and and my friend, it was less than $40 including tip!5. Cleanliness! I love when the tables themselves are very neat and organized and don't look sloppy. They take care to make sure it looks good and it did.All around, very good place. You should totally eat there. And say hi if you see 6'5'' tall bald guy. It might be me!
The dishes are quite good. Great place for Indian buffet.
The food was very good. We tried the lunch buffet and they were really busy. Good variety of items. Price was about $15 per adult for the buffet. You can also order from the menu, Dine in or order take out.
Best Indian buffet we ever had anywhere else. Super fresh and every item had a great taste. Extremely clean and friendly staff!
Awesome food! Went with a group of 12 and everybody was very impressed with the quality and value! Everything was delicious, great quantities, and kind staff. Would definitely go again.
