Coffee Shops Coffee & Tea

I was really excited to try this coffee shop after moving into the apartments above; however, my first experience was disappointing. The three food items I asked about were unavailable, which I could have moved past, but the barista rolled her eyes multiple times while I was ordering. She could have been having a bad day, but I definitely left feeling frustrated.

I really wanted to like this place! Maybe for meeting friends it would be good but it is NOT a good place to work. The internet is unprotected and so spotty. We both have come here multiple times and always have problems. Also they are in a cellular dead zone so there’s often no cell service so we can’t even hook to our hotspot. Outside seating isn’t comfortable but it is out of the sun. Though, the flies outside will attack you constantly. I had like 4 landing on me for 4 hours straight. Food is good, portions are small for the high price! Coffee is good! Overall, I mean…. Again, this is not a place to come for reliable internet and comfortable outdoor seating.

Great coffee, great food. Can’t wait til they open on weekends.

Great location, excellent coffee and pastries but it's not open on weekends! I've stopped by hopefully many weekends, to find other people trying the door and looking in. There is plenty of demand. Really wish they would change this policy. HOB coffee nearby up Twin Oaks Valley is a good alternative - and they are open!

Great coffee and pastries. Enjoy coming here as often as I can. A little pricey, but quality is worth it.

Really nice location...cappuccino is yummy and beautifully made (and immediately drinkable - not over heated ). The baristas are friendly and learn your drinks quickly. Cappuccino and chocolate croissant...my guilty pleasure. My only suggestion is an earlier open time so I can enjoy it on days I'm not working from home.

Went here looking for a nice quiet spot to work. The wifi is good but it is definitely not quiet. The high ceilings and lack of anything sound absorbing means every time they grind coffee beans or use a vacuum, it's extremely loud. I went with a friend and we couldn't even hear each other talking. The booths are comfy but too low for the tables. The drinks are expensive. The only reason I didn't rate it lower is because the tea I had was pretty good and I'm sure if you sat outside then it would be nicer. And the bathrooms are very nice.

Too expensiveSmall cups of coffeelong waiting time

$5.75 for an 8 oz oat milk latte (with no option for a larger size, might I add). Are you for real?

Looks like a brand new edition of the San Diego mini chain near the San Marcos community College or state school of whatever (cal state San marcos?) Huge location with concrete interior. Equal huge outdoor patio with shade. High ceilings. Parking was easy at 2 on a monday.
